A great DSP for integration with a factory head unit to add sound processing, equalization, crossovers and even a built in amplifier. These days with our head units doing so much more than being a radio, I choose to keep mine and add onto it, as there are many vehicle functions lie climate control, along with a number of other needed features that are controlled thru the head units touchscreen.This is a fully universal DSP that can be installed into any vehicle, but does require you to wire it in without direct plug in harnesses. While that may sound like a daunting task, it is not bad at all, once you have to correct wiring diagram for your vehicle. I chose to purchase an aftermarket speaker wiring harness for my Jeep that plugged into the factory head unit and provided me with 8 channels of audio output(my Jeep has a center channel, a subwoofer and 6 mids and highs for 8 total speakers). I created my own harness to connect the one from this DSP to my head unit speaker harness and was ready to go.This DSP allows for a lot of tuning to fix all the imperfections the car interior creates for audio. It allows for full output selection for each set of channels on the pre amp and amplified side, allowing me to easily setup my system with bi-amped component speakers for the front and rear, each channel now drives one speaker size for the best possible sound, using the built in crossovers I was able to perfectly feed each speaker with the right frequencies for it. I used the built in amplifier to power 4 supertweeters, which worked out really well, allowing me to use the gain to underpower them compared to the rest of the system so they don't get so loud.The EQ portion is a 31 band parametric style, that works well to tune the sound to your taste or using a RTA for SQ. It worked very well for me to keep the super tweeter chanel from getting harsh, a problem I had without it. I definitely recommend using the PC for tuning as it is much easier to use. Overall a great addition to my sound system at a fraction of the price of what similar DSP's cost

I had a very similar DSP from China a few years ago with exactly the same pinout arrangement on the socket, and it stopped working recently. I came across this unit and decided to give it a try. Installation is a breeze since i just need to swap out the old unit with this. The only tricky part is to tune the time alignment, EQ and gain again on each speaker. I m just utilizing the OEM head unit and the internal amp of this DSP, the overall sound quality is pretty decent for such a low-cost unit. But if you don’t know what you are doing with the time delay, HP/LP filters and EQ settings and just randomly mess around with the adjustments, you may get disappointing results.
