My kit came with a blow mold case which secures the tools in place. I am a master mechanic and plumber that restores European Cars. I was surprised at the quality of the cutter at this price point. The flaring tool is precise and easy to use. I would have loved to review the bender but it was either hiding or my kit didn't come with one.....All in All this is a great tool for the price, there are less quality tools everywhere for more money. you won't go wrong with this tool.....

JUNK! I used this tool on both steel and aluminum, the kit also says good on copper. I wouldn’t bet on it. The bar is difficult to tighten- wing nuts should have notches to accommodate bar on yoke to aid tightening. I’ve tried twice on steel, twice on aluminum. The tubing simply slides through the flaring bar- so the first step cannot be completed. Resetting allows flaring but not the double flaring I need. I bought this set because it was made in Taiwan, not China. No better these days. Too late to return even though I only tried it today for the first time. Try a better brand. No reason to chance poor quality when you need results.

pipe cutter worked well. flare clamps don't hold good enough even after tightening with pliers. if you really compress it in a vise you can get the job done.

I do a lot of mechanical work on cars, however I never do body work or brake lines, well until I purchased this tool. I only needed one brake line for my Blazer, all I could find were full kits. It's a daily driver, not a restoration yet, I could not stomach the price for a fall set. I decided to try this kit and a roll of brake line. I practiced on a small piece to start, 2 double flares later I was ready to make my line. Followed the directions, created my flares, bent the line to match the original and I installed it. No leaks, works perfectly. I am sold on doing all of my own hard lines in the future. Do not hesitate to use this tool. Follow the directions in the lid and you will be set.

Took a chance on this product despite seeing some negative reviews about the quality of the supplied die studs. I thought that maybe these people did not know how to properly use the tool. But was mistaken.. This tool is basically a slightly improved harbor freight double flaring tool. Except the the die studs snap off after one or two uses. The other components seem to be slightly better made than cheaper alternatives, but you still won't be able to use it because of the die problems. I wouldn't recommend this tool. Was hoping for better quality considering the price point compared to other tools. Spend the money and get a nice set because this tool does not deliver quality for a reasonable price. The cutter is decent. And the clamp seems to be decent quality (Does not wobble or clamp unevenly like cheaper products). At this price point everything should work better considering it costs more than some of the competition (which I purchased). The flares are decent quality if you prep the line correctly. Flaring steel properly with this tool requires absolute perfect prep and a little luck. Definitely would not even attempt stainless with this tool.I'm not a mechanic but I've done several sets of hard lines on many different types of vehicles. I thought that because of that I would be able to get by with not spending the extra money on a professional flaring set. I was mistaken, and the time and headaches you will encounter with these cheap flaring sets is not worth the "savings" even for backyard mechanics or seasoned DIYers. Hope this helps your projects go much smoother than mine did.Taking all of this into consideration I can only give two stars. Because it costs more and operates worse than cheaper sets available. If I didn't have extra dies available this tool would have left me stuck on my project until I could get replacements. If you're exclusively going to be using this tool for copper, it may be a good purchase for you. But for what the product claims to be capable of it does not perform anywhere near what it should for this price.

Purchased to flare brake fittings, only the dies worked everything else in the kit was unusable.
