This kit is complete with adapters for most engine and transmission applications from 1/8-inch to 3/8-inch including NPT male and female ends and 90-degree elbow fittings.
Compatible with most vehicles including both American domestic and imported cars and small pickup trucks.

This storage case features secure lock latches, an ergonomic handle, and measures at 13” x 10” x 2.3” inch.

Threads into the same hole where you have your oil sending unit placed.
Simply remove the oil sending unit or oil pressure switch and thread this in the hole, then start the engine and read your oil pressure.

I tested this against a few other gauges and it was about 10psi off. So not that bad for the price.I just needed to know if the trans was putting out even close to the correct pressure. it was not and this let me know that. Great for those at home.

The gauge is attached to the hose without a quick disconnect, so the gauge flops all over as you thread the hose into the sending unit hole. It's a combination engine/transmission oil pressure gauge, so the gauge goes up to 500psi I assume for the transmission tests. That means it's not much use for testing idling engine oil pressure, as the gauge doesn't even move at 12psi. I put a 60psi swimming pool filter gauge on it to test at an idle. I'm probably going to return it and get a set specifically for engine oil pressure.

Rugged gauge, flexible high-prssure hose, and a broad set of adapters both SAE and Metric. A bit annoyiung to connect because the whole gauge has to be rotated to connect the threaded adapters - it could benefit from a swivel of quick-connect. But it is wholly manageable. Hose is long enough to see from driver seat at least for transaxles.

Item as described. Helped me diagnose if my 700r4 throttle valve cable was adjusted properly and check the pressure in all the gears. I did not have to use any of the adapters the threads on the gauge hose itself was the correct one for my transmission pressure port. The only drawback I can see is that while the gauge hose is long it isn't as long as needed to take the gauge inside the truck to check the pressure while driving. Anyway its worth the price.

Pressure gauge worked as required, the only change I would make is a quick disconnect for the hose from the gauge to make it a little more flexible when trying to set it up to test. Used it on a piece of equipment with very limited space, likely will add a disconnect myself.

Very well built, packaged and working tool. Came with what I needed and a point sheet for different vehicles that applied to this tool set. Helped me locate my low oil problem quicker than without. If you have oil or transmission pressure issues I recommend this.
