This laptop lock works great with my Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 4. I typically leave my laptop at work, on my desk, in a laptop stand and was looking for a way to make sure it didn't get any feet while I was gone. This is a quick and inexpensive way to lock a laptop to a desk and it works great. It also gives peace of mind to know that your laptop can't be removed from your desk without some heavy work. I highly recommend using a device like this to keep your laptop safe and secure. Great product.

I needed a good lock so I could leave my personal laptop in my hotel room without worrying about it. The problem with the cable lock for laptops is that wide variation on lock openings makes getting one that works for all of them very difficult. This lock makes the attempt using spacers and widely varying jaws.I love the lock and key combo. The keys are very secure. The cable is a good strong cable that is long enough to use on any hotel desk. The cable to lock connection is nicely adjustable. The multi-angle positioning system works great. The materials are high quality and seem very durable.One downside is that you can engage the lock without the key. If you lost the key, then being able to lock your laptop to your desk without the key is a very bad idea. The only other negative is the "Universal Fit" idea. This attempt at a universal fit results in a lock that works but is a bit sloppy. If you are not careful you can think that the lock is working but just twisting it a little can free it. You have to expand the jaws, then twist it a bit then expand some more to get it fully seated. Once fully seated the lock is very secure.All Kensington type locks have the same drawback - they will not stop a determined or smart thief. It's a good thing almost all thieves are dumb and impatient. This lock will be good at protecting your laptop from most theft attempts.Overall, this Laptop Cable Lock met my expectations, and the price was very good for the value.

I will give it to this laptop lock chain... It does the job. I'm not exactly sold that the locking mechanism is the best approach as it'll take you a little to screw the lock on... I really feel like it could have been spring loaded or something were you can just lock and load and be done... Something about this locking mechanism seems cumbersome. The chain itself isn't particularly strong but that's not the point... The point is to deter crime of opportunity. If you go to your local library and install this lock, a thief will likely look for easier options than yours... But if they really are targeting your machine then this will not do the job as even the most basic of metal/lock cutter will likely cut through this with ease. With how basic this is, I'm not convinced that the price is as good as it can be.
