Been 6 months since I put these in. No noises, no pops, no clunks. Holding up good so far, and greased every other oil change just like the factory ones were. Bet I can get another 300,000 out of the truck with these.

Once installed these work great! With a quality ball joint press tool, they will install well. The boots on the other hand are a challenge as there is a metal ring inside the boot edge that does not like to give. I used a PVC pipe to press in upper ball joint boots and that went okay with effort and the lower ones were larger and I didn’t have a PVC pipe to fit that one so I had to take my time to get them on to not damage the boots so don’t plan to get these on fast if you don’t want to ruin the boots. It also noteworthy to mention that to get the old lower ball joints off, the press wouldn’t work for me. I needed to carefully beat them out with a large sludge hammer. There are videos on you tube showing this as well (05 Escalade).

I had the same problem as others, trying to get the boots on, after the ball joint was installed in the A-arm, and was very frustrated. After searching a bit, I found where someone had successfully installed the boots, and using a similar method, got the boots on.Using a piece of 1 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe, cut approximately 3" long, I was able to use the PVC to press the boot on the ball joint using the ball joint press tool.I would recommend putting a liberal amount of grease on the inside lip of the boot, and the ball joint both, to help the boot slip onto the ball joint.Mine was already greased up well in this way, from trying for longer than I care to admit, to get the boot onto the ball joint manually.I also deburred/chamfered the edges of the cut PVC slightly, to reduce cutting and tearing of the rubber boot during application.Using the press and the PVC, the boots popped into place fairly easily. If you try this, it be at your own risk, be careful, and I hope it helps.

USE A 1/1/4 INCH SPRINKLER SLIP-SLIP COUPLING TO INSTALL THE RUBBER BOOT - THIS SPRINKLER COUPLING MUST BE USED WITH THE UPPER BALL JOINT BOOT INSTALLATION IN CONCERT WITH THE BALL JOINT COMPRESSION TOOL (THIS IS A MUST DO- WHEN INSTALLING THE RUBBER BOOT) ( I READ TOO MANY REVIEWS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE BOOT RIPPING, TEARING OR JUST FLAT OUT FAILING) THEREFORE AS I WAIT FOR AMAZON TO DELIVER A NEW FRONT END PART I HAD SOME SPARE TIME TO POST THIS INSTALLATION PROCESS
