An ACDelco GM Original Equipment Throttle Position Sensor Kit comes with the needed parts to replace your Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), and is a GM-recommended replacement for your vehicle’s original component. Excellent, works. I tried A-Premium TPS and for weeks my idle was all over the place and then started to crank/no start when warm. Replaced with this AC Delco unit and it's all cleared up. Ummmm....yeeeaaaahhh....I'm gonna need that A-Premium TPS filed in the cylindrical filing cabinetthaaaaanks.

I have a 93 5.7 truck. It always died at a stop light. Ran good otherwise, even passed smog (CA). I had changed out this part to Delphi before, but the problem persisted. Some forum said "use Delco". OK, uggggh, it's the most expensive, but the truck is running great. Now it can idle at the longest red lights.

Fixed the transmission shifting delay on my 1995 Chevy G30 van. The transmission shift point is determined by throttle position as one input. If this sensor output is bad, the vehicles computer will delay shifting the transmission. It caused a 1 to 2 second delay to shift from 2nd to 3rd gear. This delay is annoying and causes the engine RPM to increase during the delay and when finally shifting has a hard shift. Not that easy to install if you have cables and fuel lines in the way. Took me about 90 minutes to take the old one out and install the new one.
