What is important to know is that AC-DK's customer service (I worked with Lisa) is Awesome. I had an issue where for the life of me I could not figure out why the winches weren't working. 12.69 volts of power but nothing when I hit the button to actuate the motor. I wrote in and Lisa got back to me in under 24 hours. I complied with her request for photos illustrating the problem, she got back in under 24 hours with more questions from their engineers. From those questions we were able to determine the issue, (bad ground in my electrical, not theirs) and once repaired, the winches worked flawlessly. So there you have it. Great product, excellent value, (inexpensive) and most importantly, AMAZING customer service. I would definitely buy from these guys again.

Winch was easy to install came with a wireless remote as well as a wired remote for the handlebars. I use the KFI installation kit sold separately. I mounted it on a 2024 Honda recon 250. I used it for about six hours today cleaning up down trees after hurricane Milton, no issues worked great running off of the Honda factory battery.

Mine didn't work. Too bad. It seemed really nice. I tried getting in contact with the seller, but I couldn't figure out how to navigate Amazon to do so. I'm not a rocket scientist, but I was a bomb technician, and it was kind of in my job description to fix or unfix things like this. I got 12 volts at the relays, and the wired switch had ohms infinity low ohms. I don't have the time or the patience to dig deeper into sealed components. It's boxed up again and I'll buy something else. What a wasted afternoon.

I ordered two of these. The winch itself is good and I'm pleasantly surprised at the strength of the motor and the synthetic rope. But the wireless remote was big consideration in my decision to get this particular winch. There were many others available. The wireless remote does not work with either of the two winches I bought. There is no mention of the wireless remote in the installation instructions. I've tried to contact support but there's been nothing from them. So, I'm overall disappointed. I think one of the many other similar winches would have been just as good and maybe the wireless remote would have worked.

Unit is great, it is small, powerful and I prefer the nylon rope over other winches with steel ropes.

install was easy, it works great for the price. i use it 5-10 times per year and ive recovered a UTV out of a creek once and it didnt not fail on me. remote works every time even in -25 degree c. the winch gets wet every time we ride and it does have corrosion around the seal motor end and the connectors but it still works and will definitely buy another one once tis one quits. i had bad luck with WARN brand winches and always had luck with cheap amazon winch

So far so good, was looking for a compact winch to hide behind the bumper of my lifted VW tdi Jetta. Haven’t had a chance to really load it up yet, but it’s pretty quiet and the remotes work awesome. The clutch is super easy to disengage and engage. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Got it installed it but it isn’t going in or out double check the wires everything is as it should b but not working
