The hub does everything advertised. I bought it to consolidate all the wires coming into my laptop when I use it as a desktop. I have an ethernet cable, 2 USB cables for keyboard and mouse, and an HDMI cable for the monitor. When plugged in, everything worked but the monitor. I called customer support for help. They were very responsive and determined that my laptop was not equipped for video through the USB C port. If you plan to do video through this hub, make sure your laptop will support it. Overall, I was very impressed with this product and the customer support and would highly recommend it.

USB hubs such as this are like a jack-knife; with the different cables going in and out of them. I purchased this one specifically to replace an older one that was not self-powered. I noticed with my older one that my computer would get quite hot; and my internet speeds (it has an ethernet port) were slower than simply using WiFi.I selected this product from Acer because it checked all the boxes that I need: it can plug into an AC wall outlet (via a USB-C connection - and you can also use it without this connection); fast ethernet hookup, and three fast USB-A ports.My internet speed with this Acer USB hub is much faster than my previous one, and faster than WiFi. Of course, internet speed depends upon a number of factors: your purchase plan from your ISP provider, where you live, the CAT cable you are using, etc. But my speed went from 144 bps download (old USB hub) to 587 bps (Acer hub).My only complaints are that (1) it won't read my keyboard - I have to plug that directly into the computer, and (2) the ethernet hookup stopped once. It always needs to be connected before connecting the USB-C 100W AC power; or it will not work.

I've been using it for a few months now, and it has never failed me. The quality is very good, and I haven't had a single problem with it.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product and would definitely buy it again if needed. It's reliable and delivers on its promises.

My daughter's computer had a broken wire on her ethernet port. Someone on Reddit suggested this product. It not only fixed the issue but gave her some extra uses with the 9 added features. It was suggested to use CAT 6 cable with it. We used CAT 5 until her CAT 6 arrived from Amazon. We tested speeds with both and the CAT 6 cable was amazingly fast! I would highly recommend!

Easy plug and play, I did register the product and currently use it for a monitor hdmi display, a mouse , and keyboard. Consider making pink or purple in the future to make it stylish.

Fast delivery and product works well. I love that it has an SD card slot because my Acer computer doesn’t have one.

Updated review, raised from 3 to 5 stars . Carefully examination of the one USB socket that was a bit sketchy identified a piece of debris that was present (probably from packaging.) After cleaning the product worked properly.
