If you're going into high school, this is a NECESSITY FOR MATH CLASS. whether it's algebra or geometry, this and a notebook could make your year a bit easier!!! I highly recommend. I haven't had any issues with it at all whatsoever.

I will use this calculator on my desk just for periodic calculations, mainly related to my budget and taxes. For me, this calculator is the perfect size. Not too big, taking up a lot of room, and not too small, making it more difficult to push the keys and read the digital display. It has all the basic functions that I use, which is basic math. Although this calculator has "M" buttons, I have never seen a need to use them. I also really like the color combination -- dark blue background; gray number keys; black function keys; and red for the on/off key. This calculator is also very light in weight. I imagine that at least half the time that I will pick it up and use it in my hands. Another thing I like is that calculator is made from 30% recycled plastic. I appreciate manufacturers using as many recycled materials as they can.I agree with another reviewer who said that it would be nice to have a battery compartment, making it easy to change the battery. But this calculator also has a "Dual-Power" solar charger. Where I have placed it on my desk, the sun will hit it for an hour or so each day and presumably keep it fully charged. So not a problem for me. My old calculator is about 25 years old. It does have a small battery compartment, but I have never replaced the battery. I imagine that it has been running for years on solar. And at this price, if I needed to replace the battery, I will likely instead just buy another calculator rather than buying a new battery.It would also be more perfect if this calculator had 4 somewhat larger rubber feet on the bottom to ensure that it stays in place when using it flat on my desk. The current 2 plastic feet towards the bottom top, and the 2 very small rubber feet towards the bottom edge, aren't really sufficient to hold it in place when using it on most flat surfaces. I added 2 picture frame rubber bumpons on the bottom next to the small plastic feet to have more grip on my desk surface.In sum, I rate this calculator a "4.5" because, even though there are a couple of improvements that could be made, it is my favorite of the 3 calculators that I reviewed. (One was less expensive, and the other was more expensive.) Of the 3, I am keeping this one.

bought this for my granddaughter who's in advanced algebra and excels in math. She was thrilled and was excited to use it. I'm looking for an extra stylus pen in case she looses the one that came with it. Otherwise, it's perfect and works like a charm. I'll trust her opinion as I never took advanced math wayyy back in the day.
