Anything that is easy and attractive catches my eye. This acrylic book stand that one can easily rotate has got my vote. I needed something to hold a book for me while reading aloud to a group. This book stand arrived ready to use and it was put to use right away. The small "arms" hold down the pages and the book can easily be rotated for all to see and I do not have to hold the book and crane my neck at the same time. It sits on a table top with felt on the stand so as not to scratch furniture and can be easily and quietly moved. It comes in a bag where it can be easily kept when not in use. I am really happy about this handsome and useful purchase.

Wish I'd bought this 50 years ago. Yeah, I know, it wasn't available then. But really, I use this thing every single day. I have neck issues, and I move around (sit for a while, stand for a while) when I read, and I just adjust this thing as I go - easy peasy. The arms are STRONG. Even very large books are no match for them - holds the book open with no problem. I very much recommend it.

I am bed-confined in a Care Facility following a massive stroke on 21 August 2020. My dominant right side is paralyzed.This Acrylic Bookstand is somewhat easy for the Aides and I to handle. It’s lightweight; and once the Aide moves it to my tray and positions it for me, I can manage to turn the pages and secure them with the metal page holders. It takes me awhile to read a good book, but that’s OK! I Highly recommend it!

Too small for large college textbooks. However it is excellect quality, sturdy, smooth turning, good materials.

I own several book stands, but this is by far my favorite. Not only is the design appealing, but it’s also highly functional. It raises books to eye level, which helps prevent neck strain—one of the main reasons I have multiple book stands. Additionally, the clear back of the stand doesn’t obstruct the view of my desk, giving it an airy and uncluttered feel.

I love this thing. I like printed recipes and this holds them up high for easy reading. Holds a recipe book open easily as well. It took me a bit to figure out the little hold down clamps because at first I thought I might break them. They won't break if you move them the way you need too.
