It pivots, the page holders are flexible, the wood is nicely finished on the edges, the base is metal with hefty screws holding everything together and it adjusts both in height and angle. I love a well made object in and of itself and best of all it holds the 3 lb book (paperback) “The Power Broker†with ease. I have a feeling I’ll be using it for my iPad, cookbooks, and other reading materials. Thank you for making such a useful and beautiful book stand.

I have some back and neck issues that are aggravated when sitting and reading. This is strong enough to properly hold a book. The clips to hold pages in place works really well and it is easily adjustable for most places I use it. I'm very pleased.

I compared several brands,this one is of the best quality among similar products I have ever seen,especially when placing thick books.It is a little more high than other similar products,it’s rotation is not too sensitive like other similar products,and it is more easier to move on the table than other similar products,and it is more steady than other similar products especially when placing thick books, it’s base is not as large as other products so it occupies a small area on the table.

Hinge mechanism loosens and doesnt hold books, no way to tighten permanently since used screws/bolts as hinging mechanism

kommt in kartonage, in plastiktuete und fuellmaterial aus kunststoff, welches auch aus kartonage sein koennte.das produkt ist sehr schoen gearbeitet und alles wirkt hochwertig. lediglich kleine ueberreste am holzstueck waren ueber die leicht daran klebten, sich aber porblemlos entfernen liessen.der stand ist leicht zu justieren und kommt mit einem tool zum verstellen der muttern, welche fuer die neigung vorgesehen sind.drehen laesst sich der stand so, mit kleinen stufen die ihn einrasten lassen.die arme zum halten von dokumenten oder das offenhalten von seiten kann man auf der rueckseite versteckt lassen. sie sind sehr stabil und halten sehr gut.
