I have never seen such brittle plastic. But the weights are good, and the pouch has velcro to help keep it in place. The crappy plastic will break if you pull too tight. And it is almost too thick to be installed using factory hardware in an Ops Core Fast Bump. I barely got it to work.Mine had almost NO camo pattern and was mostly black. That being said, it is a NOTICABLE improvement if you are running NVG.

The pouch seems like good quality, the stitching is excellent and fits my bump helmet nicely. The first pouch I received had just one small spot of camo, and was mostly black. Customer service quickly corrected this! They contacted me and are sending me a replacement. Awesome customer service and the pouch itself is of good quality and would buy again without hesitation. Customer service is everything, know you will be purchasing from a company that cares about their customers.

Well, I should have known, it's cheap and cheaply made, if you're planning to put the counterweight carrier through its paces and abuse go find a different one. This one was priced cheaply and the quality is cheap too. Had to replace one of the plastic mounts pretty much immediately since it snapped in half when I attached it to the helmet. I guess the manufacturer knows how cheap the plastic mounts are since they included two replacement mounts. Fortunately there's Velcro to hold most of the mass of the pouch in place and the screws are just added insurance the pouch won't fall off.

bought this for my amazon helmet, excellent job. My night vision were too heavy for the helment. This counter weights fixed the issue
