My son ordered this as an airsoft/paintball helmet because he was tired of getting pinged in the back of the head. This turned out to be a very authentic play copy of a real FAST helmet (had one as 22 year military vet). The internal retaining strap and padding should also actually provide some protection (bike helmet level) in case of a fall. My head is a 7 5/8 and my son's is 7 3/8, and it adjusted to both of us well. For looks, build, fit, and actual basic protection, this is a great buy at a great price point.

For under $30, you are getting a helmet, a gator, and a pair of goggles. This is definitely a good value for the price. Now let's get into each item in more details:1. HelmetHelmet is decently made with impact absorbing foam inside. Fitment is good and comfortable on a large head. Strap is adjustable and will accommodate most head sizes. Keep in mind this is a value oriented item, so don't expect $100+ quality and functions.2. GatorFabric on the gator is soft and feels like any other exercise clothing. It has black MC pattern and works as a neck protection. It is comfortable to wear.3. GogglesI did a test on the strength on these goggles (see pictures attached). At point blank with a 2.5J 0.32g bb, lense did survive with a visible scuff. It will protect you, but I would question it's long term durability. I would suggest purchase better eye protection. Fitment wise, it was comfortable to wear and had soft foam padding to contour to your face.

I'm new to this whole Air Soft craze. My kids were actually the ones who told me about this. I began playing with them and didn't have a helmet because I'm the "tough" dad and didn't need it until I did :-). After receiving a nice welt on my upper cheek bone near my eye, I decided to get some gear. I don't have any other to compare it to at this time, but this has been working great for me. I really liked this set because it came with everything I needed all in one purchase. Everything is holding up well and I haven't had any issues with any of the gear. I would recommend based off first time use and the protection I have received.
