Guess I got lucky because I bought this in November of 2023, it’s now January 2025 and I just put my last charcoal pack replacement in. I never had any issues with the adhesive, and it worked great at rendering the bin less offensive. Of course it doesn’t entirely remove ALL odors when the lid is up, but it does improve things. I will definitely be getting replacement filters.

I was hoping for this product to solve a smelly kitchen trash can. It had so much promise. It adhered to the lid of the trash can as expected. But within a few weeks the plastic cartridge that holds the charcoal packs fell off the adhesive. Of course where does it fall, right into the trash! I bought the black one, on a black trash can lid. You don’t notice it falls in, and you throw the product out.Funny thing is the adhesive sticks very well to the lid of the trash can, in fact I can’t even get it off!So buyer beware. If you’re mounting it on the underside of the lid. I’d also recommend getting the neon green color so you’d be more likely to notice if it fell into the trash.To the seller: consider including a double stick adhesive that’s chemically designed for the plastic of the product holder.

I didn't have high expectations for this trash deodorizer but decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it works very well at eliminating trash can odors. I have a wooden trash can holder with a hinged lid that I put a plastic kitchen trash can in. I taped this above the garbage can against the wall of the wooden trash can holder using a super heavy-duty double-sided tape that I purchased on Amazon (EZlifego Double-Sided Tape Heavy Duty). The original adhesive doesn't work very well to keep the deodorizer in place. The charcoal bags are easy to replace. I will be buying one of these for my daughter.

These do a great job keeping smells in your trash can where they belong. For the price and quantity you get, they’re an awesome value. I’d buy them again.

Felt cheaply made - easy to bend and not confident it will stay closed. Too much hassle to return, but won't buy again.

Really does not work, even after cleaning the garbage can and preventing smells all other ways. Removing it was *impossible* not worth the effort.

I stick it to the bottom of my desk where the cat's litter box is. I can still smell the litter. Maybe not quite as bad.
