I recently added the Bamboozle Kitchen Compost Bin to my home, and I couldn't be happier with this eco-friendly addition to my kitchen. Not only does it work exceptionally well, but it also adds a touch of style to my home while keeping those food odors locked away.First and foremost, the functionality of this compost bin is fantastic. It efficiently stores kitchen scraps and food waste, making composting a breeze. The lid fits snugly, and the carbon filter inside does an impressive job of trapping any unpleasant smells, leaving my kitchen smelling fresh and clean. The aesthetic of the Bamboozle Compost Bin is a real winner. Its sleek and minimalist design complements my kitchen decor perfectly. It's not an eyesore like some other compost bins I've seen. Instead, it's an attractive addition that seamlessly blends in.Another aspect I appreciate is the eco-friendly construction. Made from bamboo fibers and rice starch, it's a sustainable choice for those looking to reduce their environmental footprint. It's reassuring to know that I'm making a positive impact on the environment with this compost bin.Cleaning is a breeze too; the interior liner is removable and washable, making it easy to maintain. Plus, the bin itself is surprisingly sturdy and durable. In conclusion, the Bamboozle Kitchen Compost Bin is a winner in every aspect. It functions flawlessly, enhances the look of my home, and ensures that kitchen odors stay under control. If you're in the market for an effective, attractive, and eco-friendly compost bin, look no further. This one's a keeper!

This product is awesome. We love being able to compost and have a bin that look nice aesthetically. It came with two filters and is easily removable and replaceable. Make sure you wash them at least once a month and change them out. There is no smell, unless you go longer than a month or have extra stinky foods (fish, eggs, etc). Other than that it wonderful, easy to clean, and has held up well.

Beautiful compost bin. The handle hardware broke like I read on other reviews Only after one month and went into the compost. BUT. The company replied right away and shipped me a new handle plus hardware to replace and said to Use superglue to help stay in place. Great customer service!!!! Yes it’s expensive but if it’s on my counter I want it to look nice. The filters are not my selling point just the look of it and the fact that the lid comes all the way off not like the OXOX bin with the hinge. Wanted the lid to be able to come off. Personal preference for me.It is stained on inside from food but that doesn’t bother me.

Happy enough with this. No odor escaped. But out of nowhere, I watched it pop and crack open down the side. Also, did not clean well by hand or in the dishwasher. It remained stained inside.

Okay. So here’s the thing and it’s prob bc I didn’t look into it and no one told me lollllll. First: this is so cute and aesthetic. It’s calming (cream color, bamboo handle) and honestly the perfect size. Now, down to what it’s actually made for. No one told me (I recently moved from a place where I had a community compost that was outside, so I never kept peels, cores, etc in the house more than a day) how vomit worthy this thing smells!!!!! Not while the lid is on, with the lid on you don’t even know it’s there. But when it’s full and you go to take the compost bag out, omggggggggggg 🤢🤢🤢🤢 I can’t. Literally last time I took the compost bag out, outside at the outside trash bin and held my breath the entire time. Maybe that should have been super obvious but wasn’t even a thought for me 🙃🙃So, to sum up: very cute, doesn’t smell until you need to take the compost bag out to dispose of.

I bought the bin a few months ago and it holds compost. My issue is with the construction and horrendous customer support. The lid has two parts to it and in between sits a filter to reduce the smell. When I went to remove the filter to swap it out, I unscrewed a plastic piece on the underside of the lid that seems to hold the filter in place. Unfortunately, it seems they glued the plastic pieces together (why are they glued and screwed together?) and the piece broker with minimal force. I've been working with customer support for 5 weeks trying to get them to send me a new top. 3 different employees have confirmed my lid type & color, and all told me they were putting a new one in the mail. None have shipped. Given the poor construction and lousy support, I would recommend another manufacturer for your compost collection needs.

Nice enough scrap bin. Does a good job containing odors, too. If it was half the price, there'd be no complaints, but for something this close to $50, I get to bitch a little. First, and worst, the material used is too brittle for an application such as this, where there's bound to be the occassional counter-high drop, either kitty or soapy hand induced. mine slid off (after emptying) an outdoor recycling bin and onto concrete, breaking off a nickel sized chunk of lip. Thankfully it was a single piece I was able to super glue more or less in place. But I was struck with how hard/brittle the material is, so do be careful in use. Next, a drop of thread sealant on the handle hinge pins would be a good idea. The ones installed on my container are polished and smooth and have no screw-driver slot, making them difficult to snug up. They loosened constantly (once, leaving me to root through the outside bin till I found the hinge piece that'd fallen off inside the wee bin) till I applied a drop of blue Loctite. Last, and this is subjective, I know, but I doubt you'll ever see one of these in the MOMA. I'm shallow enough I bought one based solely on a review I read on-line, where the professional studio shots and glowing press suck(er)ed me in. It's a scrap bin, people, not a piece of art. Twenty bucks? Sure, why not? $45? Thanks anyway, but I'll take myself to dinner instead.

Bin arrived without the reusable liner pictured in the product images. Amazon sells two versions of the Bamboozle composter, one priced at $70-ish with no images of the liner, and the second - this one, priced higher at $90 - with the liner shown. No where does the listing mention that the pictured liner was not included, and I’m not sure what I paid a premium for.Otherwise, it’s pretty for a compost bin, but not worth the cost.

A screw that holds the handle in place fell out and disappeared into our compost a couple of weeks after buying this bin. I’ve tried several times to get a replacement screw with no luck. They have a useless bot on their website and no customer service follow up. So my attempts at being ‘green’ have resulted in another bad product going into landfill. Do not recommend.

These are great, we use ours to transfer to a Vitamix electric composter. No smell because of the charcoal filter, and actually somewhat attractive.
