Your cart is empty.The OEM base bushings on most Hondas are made from highly compliant rubber. Thanks to leverage, the small amount of compliance the rubber adds equates to a very noticeable "spongy" feeling in the shift knob during shifts. This bushing kit replaces the OEM rubber bushings with rigid 6061-T651 aluminum making for a much more decisive shift, even with a stock shifter. As an added touch, the bushings are coated in a purple Type 2 anodized finished, laser etched, and paired with class 12.9 flat-head mounting bolts. These base bushing have helped tighten up my shifter. Each shift feels more precise and not as muddy as before. The installation was a little tricky, as I had never opened the center console before. I strongly suggest you fully unbolt the center console and move it back several inches. Taking off the shift boot alone does not leave a lot of room to work, especially if you have larger hands. Once I opened up the center console fully, I was able to easily install all the bushings, and even pick up pieces from the old bushings I accidentally dropped. Overall, easy modification that makes a noticeable improvement in the driving experience

These bushings in addition to selector bushings and amsoil synchromesh completely changed the shifting feel of my '07 Si. I would recommend these to anyone that has a Civic. The only downside is it's easy to drop the little pieces and have to chase them down. They're made of aluminum so you can't get them with a magnet. I made the mistake of dropping one of the bottom pieces and ended up chasing it around for 30 mins. Had to pull one of the seats and some of the carpet up and even then it was hard to get as it went under a heater vent that runs to the back footwells. Just be careful to not drop them or you will end up making a 10 min job into a 45-60 min job.

Install was very easy and straight forward. The bushings feel VERY high quality. There is no impact to daily driving (when I double clutch there's no difference), but when I shift harder there's a lot more precise and notchy feeling. It feels amazing!

These are so simple yet provide a drastic improvement in shift feel and stiffness of your shifter. I did not think they would change that much of the feeling, but wow they are amazing. I put thes in my 06 Civic SI partnered with the short shifter adapter. I reccomend doing both at same time. best money you can spend besides tuner for shift improvement.

Barely noticeable. Save your money. Not worth the 15 minute install. Barely better than OEM. I'm a Honda guy that likes this sort of stuff, but I promise this is such a minor change it makes it unnecessary.

Loved how much slop it took out my shifter but looks I need to still replace my shifter cable but this helped me for a while
