I got this in two days ago, and I love it. First day it worked perfectly. Today I noticed a glitch. During the afternoon, the outside temperature got up to 24 degrees. This evening, I looked at it, and it showed the low since midnight as 1 degree, which was about right. It showed the high since midnight was 19 degrees, which is 5 degrees off what it read in the afternoon. Hopefully this will improve.

I am a volunteer precipitation monitor for CoCoRAHS, and therefore I own an official, NOAA-certified rain gauge. Naturally, after buying this unit, and performing the specified calibration, I was interested to see how accurate the rain gauge was. It has been within 0.01" of my official reading every time—rain, not snow, which is outside its realm. That's the minimal detectable limit of the official gauge, so that's excellent accuracy. Its temperature and humidity readings, who knows? Never have I found two thermometers that agree! I have no way of validating its wind speed readings, but they are in total harmony with the NWS values. One great feature: the unit spends its first 2 weeks calibrating your altitude, which is essential to the barometric readings; and that, in turn, is essential for the forecasts it provides. I have to say, its forecast is as good as the NWS, for what it's worth! 😠It's an excellent value for the money. I have certain complaints about the display, but it provides all the information I wanted. (I live in a very windy area, and was HIGHLY interested in the anemometer.) Worth buying, if you want an affordable weather station.

Well as you can see in the photo it's got a beautiful display that's hanging on my wall in my kitchen. It's easy to see as long as it's at eye level. Or on the counter. I had it a little too high at one point and I couldn't see anything. So make sure that you're paying attention to where you place it. The outdoor pieces are a good bit away, the connection is no problem. The rain gauge with wind 'thingy' LOL are attached to a PVC pipe and raised on the front of my outbuilding on my land. The temperature gauge with the lightning detection is on my screened in porch. So far? I love this thing. The only thing I have yet to find is where I can change the time from regular time to 24 hour clock... I mean surely it's got to be here somewhere and I just haven't found it. As for accuracy? I only have my phone app to compare it to and it is darn close. My phone app tells what the temperature is downtown, which is a few miles from me. That's one of the reasons I wanted this. Because it's not accurate to where I am. I live in the mountains so I wanted to know what it was outside my house, not downtown. But overall? I am very happy with this

Instructions and setups are very easy to understand and follow. There is an option of calibrating the rain gauge but I found it to be very accurate without the added steps to fine calibrate that part of the unit. The display is VERY functional for all parameters including trends over time. The display brightness is also adjustable for bright or dimmer or auto mode. The separate lightning detector ranges out to 15 or 20 miles with a pointer indicating approximate direction plus a counter function. It would detect at such a distance that I didn’t even hear the thunder. This feature alone is invaluable if you live in an area with powerful thunderstorms. As a stand alone weather station I highly recommend this unit, you won’t e disappointed.

My husband loves this weather station. It took some time to install it but once it was up and going, it’s been great! The display inside is a great size and looks good. It can be either mounted or sit on a shelf or on a counter. I like that the display can be dimmed or brightened based on your preference. All in all, it’s good quality, reliable, and convenient to check the outside weather.

todo esta muy bien, la precipitación, viento, temperatura, incluso los rayos. el unico PERO que le encuentro es el pronostico del clima. vivo en el Valle de México y nunca muestra pronóstico de dia soleado. siempre hay pronóstico con nubes.
