It's simple and accurate. Pay attention to the instructions regarding sync'ing it up with the outside sensor, though. I thought the one I received was defective, but it was the recipient that was defective. I like that it is easily readable without any internal light.

Great indoor/outdoor thermometer. Not too flashy but very accurate with just the right amount of data. Super easy set up. Great product.

I really like this weather station. it is well designed and the battery for both the base station and the sensor unit last a long time. My only wish is that it had a push button to backlight the screen at night in the dark.

My old Lacrosse basic weather station finally bit the dust after about 12 years........while it still worked, I tried other stations with more functions (rain, wind) and they were all disappointing----could not even do basic functions well. So, I was a little concerned when my trusty Lacrosse stopped for good-----however, I am very glad I found this new Lacrosse station-----it gives me all the functions I had in my old Lacrosse but in a slightly bigger case that makes is easier to read---so far it is humming along just like its predecessor. Atomic clock, inside/outside temp/humidity, barometric pressure trend graph-----all I really need to start the day. If you can live with these basic functions in a reliable package-----then this Lacrosse station is the one to have........

This is second one I have bought. Previous sensor gave up it life after about 12-15 years. Was going thru. Batteries like-mad. Hung this one on a high rise under a covered terrace roof so no problems. They over charge for the sensor cover which is a flimsy piece of god knows what. Yes I recommend it without sensor cover.B

I bought this to replace an old LaCrosse weather station because the outdoor sensor stopped working and was no longer made. It was easy to set up and is working great. I was worried it would be too big but I like the size. It makes everything easier to read. There are many new features on this one that I didn’t have before. It actually tells you what the weather is where my last one just indicated there was going to be a change. The atomic time feature is also nice. I am happy with my purchase and highly recommend. I have been using LaCrosse weather stations for over 30 years.

I bought this La Crosse weather station primarily for the atmospheric pressure but I dont believe it worksThe Pressure History columns change but dont seem to be relative to the days pressure as the digital reading stays at 30.23inHg - even when the columns go up and down.

Good device. Easy to read. has all the info I want. Nice size and screen.Lost 1 star for the annoying pressure history constantly scrolling that can't be turned of, for some reason.Like a gif on a web page you can't turn off. They were nice enough in the instructions to tell you you can't turn it off, so that saved me some time. I put a piece of sticky note over the barsTime and date is a bit small. They could take some real estate from the large and simple weather forcast graphic that I wouldn't bet a picnic on.One of the better products. I have a few La Crosse clocks - last for many years. Easy to set up.

For those of you that don't know the name, Dave was a local weatherman here in Toronto for years. Anyway, great unit. Accurate within 1% on the humidity vs. our furnace thermostat. Only criticism is that the remote unit is not housed in a cradle like our old one. I used to be able to lift the remote out of the cradle and change the batteries inside....a good thing in the middle of a Canadian winter. Not now, it has to be done outside unless of course you want to unscrew the entire remote and take it in. An earlier review mentioned no backlighting. I like a dark room at night so for me that is a plus. Great unit!

I owned a La Crosse for 15+ Years until it failed this summer. Very disappointed with the quality and functionality of the replacement- not a patch on my old La Crosse. They appear to be cutting corners properly to save on costs.

I had a previous LaCrosse model I had purchased 15 years ago. It worked well and from my experience with it I knew which features I liked. In addition to the basic indoor/outdoor temp and humidity, I like that it shows barometric pressure, both current and a graph showing the trend, and it has the automatic time signal that keeps the clock sync'ed with the atomic clock at NOA in Colarado. I live in Toronto and the time signal works reliably, over night each night. This new model has those features and I found it is much easier to set up. The sync with the outside transmitter was simple. This unit does not have a colour display, but that means it can operate effectively on batteries, and does not require an AC adapter. That works very well for where I have it placed. My one (very minor) complaint is the clock does not display the seconds.
