About this item

  • AD584 is an eight-pin precision voltage reference, a programmable four common output voltages: 10.000 V, 7.500 V, 5.000 V and 2.500 V. Input voltage range of 4.5 V to 30 V.
  • The device uses laser wafer trimming technology to adjust the pin-programmable output levels and temperature coefficients, so as to obtain the most flexible single-chip, high-precision reference voltage source.
  • AD584L is the best performance, see below, with our board is AD584L.
  • Package Included:1Pcs AD584 High Precision Voltage Reference Module 4-Channel 2.5V/7.5V/5V/10V(If there are any problems with the product, please send us pictures.Tell us more details about this problem.)
  • Thank you so much for your purchasing from our store.Any question ,please feel free to contact us.

Description: Board Features: On board 15V battery, we k that the battery is the lowest noise so that it can output pristine, stable voltage to provide a reliable . The board has four programming terminals ,each corresponding to an output voltage, short circuit by shortcircuiting the corresponding terminal block to give the corresponding voltage. Because the AD584 programming pins in programming its short resistance will affect the output voltage, in order to reduce the shortcircuit resistance, two terminals in parallel. Alternative switch terminal benefits are more reliable and flexible, shortcircuit resistance can be smaller. Before detect multimeter and board warmup at least 30 minutes at room temperature 25 degrees, to ensure that the detection accuracy. 100% new and high quality Load capacity: 10 mA. Operating voltage: 4.5V to 30V, note that the required operating voltage higher than the programmed output voltage. Temperature range: AD584J / K / L rated operating temperature range of 0 ° C to + 70 ° C, AD584S / T, with 55 ° C to + 125 ° C. The external power supply interface, you need more than 11V DC voltage. Weight: 18g (1LB453.59g) Color:As picture shows Quantity:1Pcs Note: Light shooting and different displays may causethe color of the item in the picture a little different from the real thing. The measurement allowed error is+/13cm. If I owned something accurate enough to verify the accuracy of the output voltages - I wouldn't need this, would I? So all I can say is that my best voltmeters agree with it to at least 3 digits. I mostly need it for its stability instead of absolute accuracy, and I can't verify that either, but the design should assure it's good enough. I like the 3 different types of measurement points including through-hole solder connections, and I did verify that the output seems reasonably immune to power supply variations, which matters greatly for my application (Arduino reference voltage.)

I ordered this "Precision Reference" to actually get some precision. I liked seeing in the product description that it had the most accurate version of the AD584, the L version. However the board that I received had the chip at version J version on it instead. The L version has 3X the accuracy of the J version (0.1% vs 0.3%). It is functional, but not as accurate, and not as described in the listing.

Product worked well and seems well made. However, lack of documentation left me wondering exactly which battery was it intended to use and exactly what jumper positions do what.Took some web web-technical research to figure out jumpers. However, I'm still uncertain what the right battery is. IIt appears to be a 12 volt variety as the devices works well at that value. I got it working and tested using a bench power supply set to +12VDC..

Build quality is very good. Not sure what battery you could possible put in the holder but just clipping in a 12-40 VDC filtered power supply will work fine. If you use the power jack with a wall wart, make sure that it will put out at least 12 to 40 volts DC and is well filtered or you may not get the exact precision output that you are expecting. There is NO documentation with this but there are several YouTube videos that will show you how to use.

I connect 15v from a power supply or use two 9v batteries that I wired with battery clips. Not worth messing with that battery that would fit in the unit.It gives a solid reference, 10v out is best on mine.

My delivered board contains the AD584JH instead of the advertised AD584LH. The J part has specified max error +/- 30mV @10V, the L part has specified max error +/- 5mV @10V. So I am returning the board.

Very precise etalon , the voltages are very precise to 4 digits, 2.5000, 5.0000, 7.5000 and 10.0000 which is impressive. You can build your own jig using a 10K multi-turn potentiometer to get other voltages if you want. Very precise device.
