Both relays that I ordered were defective. After reading another purchaser's review I decided to check both boards carefully to confirm their posted observation. Indeed, the Vcc input is NOT connected to the relay. I was able to solder a short piece of wire between the relay and the Vcc pin. Now both units operate as anticipated. Amazon should block the sale of this faulty part by the vendor.
