I actually don't use this product for it's intended use. I use it to write the dollar amounts and info on the receipts of purchases I make. Grocery, box store, house projects or car repairs, unexpected spending, etc. Than, when I'm ready to tally out the day/week/month total amount spent, I simply tear out any page or pages from the Adams booklet and attach to my "purchases" journal. Since I'm a bit of a neat and tidy freak i hate all the store receipts. They're different in size, thickness and order in which the purchase information is listed. That's why I prefer to transfer all the receipt information onto one of the Adams phone message pages to ensure that all of my records are neat, tidy, orderly and uniform. Each perforated page is exactly the same size and the way I choose to way I write out the receipt information is uniform as well. The reason i do this is that when I need to " look-back" i don't want to waste time sorting thru a myraid of receipts of various sizes and print. In the case that I may need to keep a receipt for return or warranty purposes, I keep those in their own special book. I also like using the Adams phone messages book for receipts is due to the fact that receipts don't always get recorded in a master journal in the order of the date purchase because life gets very busy or sometimes and you'll misplace a receipt and than find it at a later date. By using a regular notebook, that stray receipt messes up the continuity. Well, no problem with these tear out pages. I can write out each receipt whether in order or out of order and not worry because once i finally tear them out to close out spending totals, I can align then chronologically for that clearer bigger picture with ease. I guess I'm still a paper and pen vs entering things into a computer person.

These were much cheaper than other phone message books and thinking that most messages are read, acted on and discarded lulled me into thinking I could be happy with a cheap product. I am not. They are worth what I paid @ $6.99 but I should have known better.Probably not ordering again since I am apparently an office products snob.

I just wish that the cardboard that prevents you from going to the next page was thicker.
