The outer plies are .75 mm thick and give the mat self-healing properties. Excellent quality. I bought 2 pads of the largest size they have 4 × 6 ft. This mats are twice as thick in comparison with everything else on Amazon, its 3 mm thick. Its very heavy. Matt finish and non slippery. Also it came in a flat package, not a roll, which is awesome because you don't need to flatten it. It was also slightly cheaper than the other brands. Better price and superior quality. I am very pleased with this product.

THIS IS QUALITY! The price is spot on for an insanely well made cutting mat like this! I’ve owned many mats over the years from companies like Alvin, and some branded ones made for Games Workshop, and used them for mat cutting, miniature work, drawing on, work bench protection, and photo backgrounds. I was really impressed with this one, it’s 3 ply thick, with a very nice smooth finish on both sides, no curling, and very legible and clean measurements printed on the green in a sharp yellow, and on the other side as a dark muted but still visible grey.The desk shot above is one of the Lowe’s work benches, with the 18â€x24†mat on it.I already did some cardstock cutting on it, and so far so good.

Happy that I came across this option to cover and protect my cutting table and allow me to use rotary blades. It's superior in quality, thicker and heavier.

I am very pleased with the format of this cutting mat, especially the 1/2†lines that do not appear on other mats I have used. Both sides are marked in inches, whereas my last mat was marked in centimeters on the reverse, which are useless to me. Having the use of both sides means my mat will last twice as long. The white marking lines are sharp and clear, and along with the dark green and black backgrounds, are perfect for making accurate cuts. I highly recommend this product.

Before I purchased this I wass worried about it possibly coming rolled up and being warped, but it was packaged with care and was absolutely perfect for my space. It's half the price of the others this size so I feel like I got a really great deal. I'm thrilled with my purchase!

Thick, durable mat, made lots of cuts and can't find any of them, but unfortunately the gray print on the black side is fairly hard to see, so I don't think it'll end up as a double-sided mat for me. The green side is great though. I just wish the gray print on the black side was easier to see. Just a heads up--I did get some kind of solvent on the mat, I think lacquer thinner or odorless paint thinner, and it smudged/removed the print a bit, but that's to be expected, I don't think any mat's printing will survive a harsh solvent like lacquer thinner, so be careful if using solvents like that with this mat, or any cutting mat I suppose.

I’m using the Mat for different materials, but I already used it for cutting rubber, foam and a few cut to fit shelf mats works great I have it layer out on my work bench. Awesome purchase.

During lockdown, my wife and I decided to take up quilting as a hobby/activity. Okay, actually she decided and I agreed to help is how it worked. But same result. We did all the research, she bought her quilting stuff, and I was the geometry guy and in charge of marking, cutting, and other prep. 6 quilts, 2 table runners, and a few pillows later, this is the result for this product:I never heard of a self-healing mat. This is so cool! Who knew? I've probably put a few thousand cuts on this things so far and no marks. I mean it can't last forever, but with the use I've put on it already, I wouldn't be disappointed if it stopped today. Yet no signs of wear.Measurements are spot on, as are angles. I literally can't think of a thing they could do to make this better except for make it bigger.Oh, and it doesn't move on top of the table. It's a little weighty, but the big thing is that it doesn't scoot when you put pressure on it. Everything stays very firm. You can't dig into the top or anything and it's very tight. But apparently it gives just enough that you can feel the fabric cut, but you don't sink down in.Now the cutter we got initially only had the regular stainless wheel with it. [Note to self and others - using a cutting wheel on a plexiglass cutting board will ruin the blade. Don't ask how I know this. ]So we got a package of new titanium blades [

Je suis enchantée de mon nouveau tapis de découpe. J'ai acheté celui-ci parce que mon ancien tapis avait vingt ans. Il ne cicatrisait presque plus après la découpe de projets et nécessitait que je repasse plusieurs fois au même endroit pour arriver à tailler des pièces. De plus, mon nouveau tapis est beaucoup plus grand et me permet de tailler de plus grands morceaux sans déplacer ma pièce sur la surface de travail. Je ne regrette pas mon achat du tout et je le recommande.

The product says A2 size, but they ship 2 A2 mats. Happened twice with me, the first time I placed a replacement thinking it might be a mixup. But the second time too, two mats arrived in the package. The product maybe good, because it feels heavy for sure, 2 stars.

This mat is a great size and works perfectly for me. The first one arrived with a broken corner but it was a quick and easy process to get it replaced. I’m quite happy with it.
