The mic slips aren’t bad overall, but they’re much taller than I expected. I did end up returning them only because they were too tall for my intended purpose. Since I mount my mics on my toms with cymbals just above, they wouldn’t allow me to place my mics close enough to each tom in order to keep the cymbals from hitting the mics. They also have an adjustment that allows you to move the mic even higher with a simple turn of a knob, but I didn’t need that much height since my Audix mics are so compact. Mounting the clips to the toms wasn’t difficult, but my toms have mounts that don’t quite allow these clips to clamp on tight. I have the Tama Star Classic kit.

I like how this mounted to my drum, but the microphone clip was too weak for my application. It would not securely hold an sm57 drum microphone. I returned this item.

Not super sturdy, and they won’t hold a larger mic, but they are cheap and do the trick for a snare mic.

Purchased this to mount on my Tama Star-mount Tom mounting system. It does successfully clip on but I can’t figure out how to prevent mic from slipping out of sleeve
