I love these! I am a 59 y/o male. I am in good aerobic shape but terrible strength and flexibility. I know I need to start lifting. So I am doing a YouTube video (Caroline Girven Iron Series) and using these dumbbells. I really like how many weight settings they have, more than the others on Amazon. I was worried that to have so many weight settings, they might resort to using a different amount of plates on each side of the dumbbell, but that is not the case. There are the same number of plates on each side of the dumbbell, so the dumbbell is balanced correctly.After a few tries, it is very easy to get the bar back into the tray to change weights. Each weight level is well marked and it "clicks" when you have it set. And then you just lift!I have used these now for 4 weight training sessions. I am very happy with my purchase.

These are great! Easy to use! Great if you're not looking to do anything really heavy. A great value compared to many of the "big brands" out there.

Fantastic addition to any home gym especially if you have multi-users. Me and my husband obviously have different weights we use. This allows both of us to have whatever we need without taking a bunch of room in our small home gym. They are super easy to adjust and really nice quality. They may seem a little expensive but I think they are a great investment for sure. You get a lot packed into a smaller footprint. They are easy to use and gave a good grip. Both my husband and i have larger hands so maybe a smaller hand might have a little trouble but not much.

Ordered these for my son to help him on his weight loss journey and he hasn't put them down yet! Fantastic set of adjustable workout dumbbells. In my son's own words, here's what he says:....."These are a solid set of dumbbells! With 15 different weight settings, you can adjust them for whatever workout you're wanting to complete. Shoulder Press, Bicep Curls, Bent Over Rows, Incline Press, etc. Weight setting system is very easy to use with it's magnetic lock. While off the rack, there are no accidental weight shifts or plates falling off during your lift. They lock in & only adjust once placed back on the rack. Handle is nice and comfortable to hold. Yes, being adjustable, the dumbbells are larger in circumference than a traditional single weight version, but the trade off in versatility makes the adjustment worth it. Plus it's great not having multiple dumbbells cluttering up my apartment. I love that I can get a stronger, heavier duty workout in at home now without having waist time going to the gym for big bar weights. Thank you very much! I'm torn on these. Can't decide if I like them or not.Pros: the convince of being able to select the weight.Cons: sometimes the handle sticks when trying to change the weight.The weight selection mechanism is mostly made out of plastic, and I do not forsee them lasting too long.They are sooooo bulky. I understand that in order to accommodate the varying weights, they need to be big, however, they are too big for me, they prevent me from having proper form.If you're just looking for the convince of having all your weights in one device, this one will suffice, but i would recommend shopping around.

Nice adjustable weights that select easily and are secure. Of course they are a bit big to accommodate the adjustment range. They seem well made and if it's just for personal use and not in a high traffic gym, I think they should last a good while. I do wish they came with a stand though, as always having to bend all the way down to the floor is a bit of a hassle. I'll have to come up with a stand of some sort or ledge to place these on. Thumbs up though.

These are excellent dumbells, not a single complaint. I've never used adjustable-weight dumbells until now, and I'm glad I got them. The base that they sit in is plastic but they are robust and are holding up with no issues. The grip is comfortable and makes switching weights a breeze. I was worried about the weights falling off while using the dumbells and that has not happened yet. The build quality is excellent, with metal plates and a plastic base. They have a flat bottom which keeps the weights from rolling away when you put them down. Easy 5 stars...
