The too rail us heavier than the base. Mine had no instructions. Wasn't bad. I did a video on the YouTube. Zukiplay metals "why didn't I do this sooner?"

I have an enclosed patio which has a 2 step stair from the rear doorway. This railing was perfect since it does not need to be attached to the stairs. The upright post mounts to the concrete patio, and the top rail attaches to the building wall. While I found the construction of this impressive, it lost a star for the welding and alignment. The knuckle on top of the post was not exactly square, meaning to keep the rail square from the building, the post flange is not exactly square on the floor. And the upright square pipe is only welded on 2 sides to the flange, why not all 4? I cannot comment on the supplied hardware since I went with 3/8" drop in shields, and my 1/2" hammer drill. All in all I am happy with this railing, it looks very nice and is very sturdy.

my wife and i are getting older and sometimes need a rail to steady ourselves this handrail proved to be just what we needed , the only thing is you need a hammer type drill and a masonery bit if your drilling in concrete. overall the installation was pretty easy, i touched up nuts and bolt with some black paint i had on hand.

This handrail is very well built and sturdy. It is attractive and fairly easy to install. I knocked it down a bit for two reasons: 1) The install instructions don't indicate the size holes needed for the included anchor bolts. I tried 3 different concrete drill bits before I settled on 3/8"; 2) The mounting plate that anchors the top of the rail is very wide. I my case, I was mounting to a 6x6 post and the plate is wider than the post. Consequently, I was only able to use one of the mounting holes in the plate. Praying it remains secure. If you're mounting to a wall, this should not be an issue.
