Totally MY FAULT for not looking at the right trimmer ... the shaft of my Ryobi is too fat. I'll kluge something because I need to trim a lot of vegetation at about 6 inches. It might fit the other Ryobi's tublular shaft but the pivoting head trimmer is too fat.

I bought the wheels for my Makita brush cutter, but even the smaller of the two clamps supplied to attach the wheels to the shaft of of the cutter is still too big. You need to make the shaft bigger by wrapping something around it (like insulating foam for small pipes) in order to get a tight fit. Otherwise, the wheels have been built with sturdy materials.

We have a Ryobi weed whacker and this was a pain to install. As a 50-year-old woman , who only wanted to help with the yard work, this wasn't exactly the plan. My son did get it to work, but it was very frustrating for him. Once we got it going, I can say that it did help , I have tendonitis in both elbows and a failing wrist, and I was able to help. The wheels got through my front yard ok, the back yard was more difficult as the terrain in softer, but this still took the pressure off of my arms. I think this is great idea, just wish it had been easier to set up right away. Maybe this is a concept this company could work on for varying makes and models.

Clamps included do not fit the shaft on my weedeater and cannot be clamped down and therefore can’t be used. I was sent two sets of clamps, both of which are the same size. I wonder if one was supposed to be smaller than the other?

I push it around similar to the movements you would a vacuum cleaner not using a swinging motion,I really prefer this method. It installed perfectly on my Ryobi

I ordered it thinking it would help my back pain. It was useless. The wheels got in the way when trimming and made weed eater heavy and hard to maneuver. I threw in the trash and regretted the time wasted ordering, assembling and trying it out.

You can assemble this with the provided tools, but it's easiest if you have proper wrenches for putting on the wheels. The provided sheet metal wrenches are too short. But it's straightforward and no instructions are needed. Two pieces that go on the shaft to attach your weedeater or other tool are provided. That may allow you to use them on two different tools if that's helpful (but I'd leave it permanently attached to the wheeled device, making that sort of irrelevant unless you stack them on the vertical shaft, with different arrangements or shims for shafts of different weedeaters) or maybe if one of them breaks somehow, there's another. The two pieces are identical and accept a weedeater shaft 1 1/4 inches in diameter fully tightened.
