This is very lightweight and decent for the price. Not super sturdy, but I dont think it will break unless you're rough with it. You get what you pay for. I like that the leg cushions are bead pillows and not foam. The mouse pad is good, but also very lightweight, so needs to be handled with care.

I have a 17 inch laptop - an Alienware m17. It's an older gen one too, so it's bulky, heavy, and outputs a LOT of heat. I wanted a lap desk that was comfortable, allowed good airflow for my computer, and gave me somewhere to put my mouse and mousepad. This lapdesk is just about perfect.Since the surface is flat, air is allowed to flow easier into and out of my computer. I'm a little disappointed this doesn't have slits in the laptop surface for even better airflow, but so far just the solid surface has done a good job without overheating my computer. The mouse platform can be switched to the right or to the left, perfect for anyone no matter your dominant hand. There are several possible angles the surface can be at, controlled by lifting up or lowering the surface. It's a pretty low-tech device, but it does it's intended job perfectly! The only other gripe is that I wouldn't call it portable - it's great for at home use, but is too bulky to take with you places.

This is a great lap desk if you have a zero gravity chair. I can now comfortably type and see the keyboard without strain. All the better to telework from my balcony when the weather is nice! I like the fact that the padded bottom is in two pieces so my legs don't get hot. I do wish there was a way to take off the covers for eventual cleaning though.This is a very well designed lap desk but is rather cheaply made as far as the plastic goes. I can see that I will have to be careful not to break any of the moving plastic parts. I find taking the mouse platform on/off to be a bit of a pain but don't use it much.So, overall I'm really pleased with my purchase; I just wish the plastic was more solidly built so it will last decades. Compared to another lap desk I have, this one is superior because you can change the view angle of your laptop. Highly recommend.

It fits perfectly! I'm able to use my lap top while sitting on my couch . It's sturdy , functions as it should, has a place for your mouse pad , doesn't get hot, and looks great. I highly recommend.

I got this for my boyfriend as he needed something for using his laptop on the couch, while he does like it a lot, I have a few caveats that folks should be aware of. First of all this item is shipped with absolutely no padding in the box at all, it is literally just a cardboard box not much bigger than the item itself and it is in a very thin plastic bag.While we got lucky and the item wasn't severely damaged, there was a small piece of plastic that chipped off on the inside, where the mouse pad attachment is stored. I was under the impression that the mouse pad was a slide out/slide in type, but I must have misread the description because it attaches by depressing a small tab at one end and sliding it into the slot until it clicks.Definitely not a deal breaker but something you may want to know! And finally, this item is made of very cheap plastic, which is somewhat a positive in that it is very light, but it feels like it could crack or chip from the slightest drop or bump.I had a gift card of 17 dollars so I only spent $10 on this which considering the quality is a fair price, but for anyone who will be spending 27+ dollars on this, I would not recommend it, unless it really does meet ALL of your needs.

This lap desk is very durable and very easy to use. My favourite part about it is that it has an extension for mouse use. I really like that. If you are not using a mouse, you can store the attachment inside of the lap desk. You can customize the height of the tray depending on where you’re using it. A nice detail is the little lip that stops your laptop from slipping and the handle, which allows you to move effortlessly from place to place.The cushions underneath the lap desk are very comfortable and it is not super heavy. Overall great value and great price for a good quality product.

This is the only affordable small lap desk I could find with both leg cushions and a mouse tray, and it definitely does the job. It's comfortable, and the mouse tray seem sturdy enough. The only complaint I have upon receipt is that there's no non-slip surface. I've put a separate mouse pad down on the mouse tray, and getting some stick on non-slip pads from the dollar store will probably prevent the laptop from sliding around. Overall, pretty good.

Stand is great and serves the purpose. Several adjustable heights, all of which I don't use, I like the lowest one best. The extra "shelf" can be attached or not. It seems flimsy but it works as I'm used to using a mouse so I found it useful. I thought the product a bit pricey, but glad I purchased it. I like the idea of the pads that fit on your lap. They are made of a beanbag material and are comfortable.

I used this desk to read on and write on and was happy with it until about 6 months down the line, after daily use, the plastic clip that holds the top part of the desk and the bottom part together broke so that it no longer stays closed when stored on its side. But I could live with this. Less than 2 months later, the c-shaped plastic clips at the lower end of the bottom half, where the top half snaps in and allows it to rotate, broke. Now there was nothing to hold the 2 pieces of the desk together. Bring on the duct tape!! Now it works again but not the way the manufacturer intended. Would it have killed them to have used metal clips? I think that is not an unreasonable expectation for the price being charged.So beware, this is not a good purchase. It will crap out on you in less than a year. Don't buy it unless you are a fan of duct tape repairs.
