Comfortable and chic in gray. The leather texture of the table top is soft to touch but wipeable. Really like the functionality of the electronics shelf and the retractable ledge to hold my laptop and phone steady and upright. Can hold a kindle or slim book upright for easy reading or studying with the desk area free for a notebook. Wide enough space to hold a my small laptop, or my surface pro flat and a wireless mouse or a notebook beside it. The beaded padding underneath easily adjusts for comfort on the thighs (better than foam), but too unstable to hold beverages. Stored beside the bed or couch for easy handling. Good value for money. Recommend in gray or your own style.

This lap desk fits my 16†MacBook perfectly! There is not much room for my mouse, but it gets the job done. The lip between the pad and edge is little uncomfortable, but I’m sure using a small mouse pad would help. It’s not too much of a problem for me so I haven’t tried using anything. My laptop doesn’t slide around in the mat and the stop bar is sturdy. I bought the waves pattern and it’s very stylish!

I purchased two of these Lap Desks for our house! I have other portable tray tables that have legs, but those sit too high for comfortably working on a laptop. This lap desk has a nice beanbag-like cushion on the bottom. It's adjustable. I am able to angle to lap desk just by moving the beanbag around. It's big enough for a 17" laptop with a mouse on the side. However, if you have a laptop that big, you might not be able to put your phone in the desk insert. I have my phone flat on the left side of my laptop and still have room for a mouse on the right side. The kids have also used theirs in car on roadtrips to use as a food tray and to use their devices. It wipes clean easily with wet wipes. This is definitely worth the purchase if you spend time working on the couch, in bed, or travel!

Just got this lap desk to replace one that didn’t last as it started to fall apart. This one is much better for a number or reasons: First, the cushion is filled with material that allows you to lay it flat on your lap or at an angle. Second, the top is not slippery so nothing slides on it. Third, it feels and looks like it is built solidly. At this early stage, I highly recommend it.
