We used these to create a latch for the “tailgate†we fashioned from a 2x8 on my son-in-law’s flatbed pickup, for the rails we built. They work great, and bring stainless steel they should last a long time.

Heavy duty and adjustable. Works like a charm, SS, lockable. I made a different catch hook to suit my application. I wish they had included lock nuts so the adjuster didn't flop around when unhitched. I bought some but be aware..METRIC..

I order several latches to try to eliminate the air leakage due to a bow in the ice bin door of my 880 lb ice maker. Nothing seem to me exactly solve my problem. I kept searching Amazon and found this jewel. Easy to install; easy to use; looks are not bulky or overbearing. Very sturdy!!

Part that latch hooks on was missing from one latch. Liked the latch very much other than that.

I bought these to replace a locking mechanism on a murphy bed. So far they are holding up really well.I like that you can adjust the pieces to fit your needs.My only complaint is that they did not come with screws. Maybe that's in the fine print, but I did not see it.
