These locks worked out great for what I needed and function properly. They were easy to install and align to slide a lock through the slot. These were used to lock up the liquor cabinet and nothing more so I felt secure with them installed.

I really like these latches. Just be aware that you will need to use different screws. Most of the ones that came with it either broke off or the heads stripped out. I found better screws and the latches work great. Low stars because they should include better screws.

I have used these for my diy stove case since it didn’t come with a carry case. It was a good price and it has held up for two years so far. It has not rusted and the springs still hold its retention. It’s a simple install and works well. It is the perfect size for my needs with quality latching.

Read the dimensions in photos before ordering. They are just right for my application.Replaced a $25 plastic latch on Dometic chest fridge with this one. The Dometic latches are weak and break easily. These seem pretty strong for their size. Time will tell. The spring part works like it should.

I use this product in my Chevy express van to close a Storage compartment... works great you can even add a lock 🔠on it
