It says that the bracket works from 6.8 inches to 11 inches. When I assembled it the minimum distance is 7 inches not 6.8. It doesn't fit the mailbox I bought.

Sturdy. Easy to assemble. Had to do some minor adjustments for my mailbox but ended up working well.
