I like that this stand has just one pedestal. I always bumped into my old one when I played my e-piano. This one is sturdy and easy to assemble; however, the directions could be clearer that there is a "hidden" pole section to look for while assembling. It's not obvious at all. But I do like the wooden sheet music holder, which is much prettier than black metal. Speaking of the music holder, it wasn't deep enough, at 3/4" to support my 2" music binders. But an easy solution was buying a 12" metal ruler that was 1 "x 3/4" deep. I just attached it to the existing lip with double-sided tape. Overall a great stand!

So I can Stand more. The podium is of good quality, but the base is terrible. It wobbles all the time no matter what I do. I even have put 10 pound weights on the bottom and it still does. I made out a ticket to send it back but then to try to try it more and now I’m really sorry I didn’t. Every time I use it it wobble so much. I can’t even move my stuff around.

So the poles are study steel, so that’s great. The base of it could’ve been bigger but not too much of a problem. The wood place to put your book is sturdy, but the lip could be bigger. Because of the small lip, bigger books aren’t feasible. What completely doesn’t work is that tray. The tray is a “sound card tray†that would be sold with microphone stands. This is not a microphone stand. So, to retrofit the stand onto this, you have to gut out the insides and use it on the top part of the stand directly beneath the part you place your book on. Even then, it is loose and can spin around. One of the pictures of this item says that the tray is a “perfect fitâ€. That, it definitely is not.

The height isn't easily adjustable, making it uncomfortable to use for long practice sessions. Additionally, it doesn't hold heavier sheet music securely. I expected better for the price. I wouldn't recommend this stand to fellow musicians. Save your money and look for a more reliable option!

I like this product. The only caution I have as you adjust it be mindful that you can hurt your fingers if you don't hold it firm. It drops very fast.
