Product is nice , I bought these items because of the pinned design on the shaft of the bit.This product so far has performed flawlessly.Similar items as these are not pinned and fail within a short amount of time.

Bits are well designed, work well, but two bent and are nearly impossible to straighten out. Still works but if you can find a better quality hardened bits like this I recommend consider buying if you plan on doing bigger jobs. Set screws strip easily, do not over tighten.

This is the second set of these I've had and love them. the spiral bit centers nicely and cuts nice.Highly recommend....

These were cheap money-wise compared to the name brand ones at Home Depo and Lowes, but as is often the case, you get what you pay for. Broke after only a few uses. I've purchased a DeWalt model in the past and it did break, but it's the end of the drill bit that broke, and after like a full year of use! Hey, thin drill bits do break. THIS broke where the round shaft of the bit inserts into the hex base, which definitely should not happen, and only after a week or two. Never had a hex shank bit break off like this ever. Emailed the manufacturer, no response. You are better off ponying up for one of the more expensive DeWalt/Milwaukee sinks as opposed to this set of on-line cheapies...

I've had this set for about three months, and used the heck out of them. The tapered drill bits provide the right balance between grip and splitting the wood. And the countersinks work well with almost no tear out. Unfortunately, the design is pretty weak, relying on a very thin joint between the hex shank and the countersink. One of mine broke today in the middle of building a set of cabinets as you can see in the photo. If you're going to rely on these for paying jobs, buy a spare set just in case, or spend more for a better set.

They drill very well and screws grab nicely in the tapered pilot hole. Excellent product
