Works well on larger sizes. On 1/4†all thread if you aren’t paying close attention and keeping it perfectly centered the all thread will wedge itself between two of the cutting blades.

Got it to clean up threaded rods that I cut for custom length bolts, etc. Much quicker than the usual file I use to clean up the burrs and make a nut fit. First use worked perfect. Can't comment on how long it lasts, so we'll have to see.

These style deburring tools are quick and handy to have around. This one seems to work well. Blades seem sharp, and it was effective at chamfering the edge on the 3/8" galvanized rod I used it on without a problem. For some reason it is a threaded attachment, mine had wiggled its way apart during shipping, but it screwed together quite simply and easily.

I had some 6mm screws that are supposed to go into a standby generator. Wouldn’t fit. Maybe its 1/4 inch? Wouldn’t fit, too big. #12? No, too small. Had I chamfered the end of the 6mm screw all would have been fine. It was just off enough that I couldn’t get it started. This tool would have saved me two trips to the hardware store if only I had it at the start of the process. The cone shape has three carbide cutters to chamfer the end of screws or bolts. It works surprisingly well, even just holding the pieces by hand. Since most screws/bolts are case hardened, I am not sure how long it will last. But even it it only fixes a few screws it is worth all the wasted time.
