When using silicone molds to make chocolate, the following aspects should be paid attention to:
Mold preparation
• Cleaning and drying: the first use should be thoroughly cleaned, soaked in warm water and a small amount of dishwashing liquid, then rinsed with water, dry to avoid residual substances affecting the taste and quality of chocolate.
• Check integrity: Check the mold for damage, scratches or deformation before use, faulty molds may make the chocolate molding bad or difficult to release.
Treatment of chocolate raw materials
• Choose the right chocolate: Choose pure chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate according to the demand, it is recommended to choose good quality, moderate cocoa butter content, poor quality chocolate may not be able to release smoothly or taste poor.
• Melting chocolate: can use water heating method, water temperature control at 50℃-60℃, do not stop stirring, to prevent local overheating. At the same time, be careful to avoid water or steam into the chocolate, otherwise it will make it rough, affect the taste and appearance.
Injection mold and release mold
• Injection mold operation: Pour the melted chocolate into the mold gently and slowly to avoid bubbles. If there are bubbles, use a toothpick to crack them.
• Demoulding technique: After the chocolate solidified, demoulding should be careful, gently crack the edge of the mold first, let the air enter, and then slowly push out the chocolate, do not pull hard, so as not to crack the chocolate.

I dusted the insides with corn starch and molded gum paste into them. So far they're turning out very well, even if it's a pain to get the gum paste spread in there without pulling it out.
