Strangely, when this item arrived, the packaging was tampered with. It almost looks like someone removed this hot glue gun from the packaging and decided they didn't want it, then put it back. Either way, it was unused when I received it and as far as I can tell, nothing was missing from the package.This hot glue gun is an interesting concept. I haven't seen a wireless hot glue gun before but I think its a great idea. I've used it for several projects now with good results. Something I noticed about this hot glue gun is that it takes a while to heat up. My corded hot glue gun will start to ooze within a couple minutes of being plugged in but this hot glue gun needs a little longer to warm up. I think it takes about 5 minutes or so to get it going. But after its warmed up, it works great. The flow rate is pretty high thanks to the large nozzle. The trigger also has a good grip on the glue stick and is able to push the glue out quite efficiently. This is an issue that I've had with other glue guns but this one seems to hold on to glue sticks quite well.This glue gun charges via USB C which I love to see. The last thing I need is more micro USB devices. It has a nice charging indicator light which makes it easy to tell when its fully charged. As for glue stick replacements, this glue gun uses the larger diameter glue sticks. I'm not sure exactly what size but I'm guessing they are half inch glue sticks. This glue gun comes with 5 replacement glue sticks but due to the high flow rate, they go fast. You'll probably want to get a pack of backup glue sticks as well. They are pretty easy to find online or at any craft store.The only thing I didn't like about this glue gun is the placement of the power switch. You will notice that the power switch is located on the handle near the trigger. When I hold this glue gun, my thumb tends to rest on the switch and sometimes I accidentally switch it off during use. This is super annoying and happened several times while I'm using this glue gun. It is simply an issue with the placement of the switch. If the switch was moved somewhere more out of the way, that would remedy this problem. In the grand scheme of things, its a pretty small annoyance, but its definitely an area of improvement for this product.Overall, this is a very cool glue gun. Having a cordless glue gun opens up a lot of flexibility for doing projects and ensures that you won't be tied to a wall outlet. The battery seems to last plenty long, longer than the glue sticks at least. If you're in the market for a high flow cordless glue gun, this one is a good option. The power switch could be placed better so that the user doesn't accidentally turn it off during use but that is pretty minor. I would recommend this product, its been working great for me.

This AdTech Freedom Cordless Hot Glue Gun is the first hot glue gun that I've owned. I didn't do much research before buying this as I normally would, since I got this item through the Vine program. I didn't realize that not all glue guns are cordless. I think that is a definite plus for this. However, I learned after ordering this that there are low temperature glue guns available, and I would have preferred one of those since I am nervous about burns. This requires more caution since it is a hot melt gun with a nozzle temperature of 340 °F (171 °C). I do appreciate that it has an insulated nozzle to make it a little safer. I will get some use out of this for minor home repairs, but I think I will get a different model for my 10-year-old son's arts and crafts projects.

It's been years since I've used a hot glue gun, but now that my kids are in school and are making crafts and projects just about every week, I thought I'd seek out a hot glue gun that would be easy to use together.This cordless design is just awesome!The thing that always made glue guns so dangerous was the short cord. It was always a trip hazard and you'd always bump into it or accidentally knock it off of a table.With this one, however, you can easily set the glue gun aside away from your workspace when it's not in use, then easily position it into tight spaces without the cord interfering with your work.it heats up quickly, dispenses evenly, and holds a charge well.Very happy with it!

I haven't really done anything super productive with this yet, but I know that I will have need for this. That said, I have been using it for crafts and some really outrageous decor on Christmas presents, and so far it's been perfect. It takes a couple minutes to heat up per usual, but output is extremely smooth. Build quality and grip are great, size and weight make it really easy to work with.The best part is literally that this thing being wireless, doesn't have the inexplicably short tether that was on my previous glue gun. I have a drafting table my glue gun lives on, and had to move the desk to be right on top of an outlet, so I could lean to the left and use it on the side. That cord has to be like three or four feet max. I'd measure but I have no idea where it went since this one got here and I stopped caring entirely. This dude is perfect. Charging time isn't bad, and the battery lasts well over an hour for me, so I haven't had any issues. It's just been a lovely experience.

Cool wireless glue gun takes a bit to warm up but once it does it works great. I've never been able to run the battery out even after an hour of being on. I can highly recommend this product.

Where has this been all my life?! Having a cordless glue gun makes such a difference. It’s allowed me to glue things out of the home where I would’ve needed an outlet before.For instance we had a bday party at the park last weekend and needed to glue a backdrop we were making, I was able to bring along my cordless glue gun and and finish the project we were making. Such an awesome product!Heats quickly and works flawlessly!
