The clarinet arrived 3 days ago.The low notes sound clear, main reason for buying a G clarinet. Appropriate for songs in key of C.I use an alto sax Reed, trimmed to fit, with good enough response and clarity, more of treble because it is no. 1 1/2. A no. 2 should have more bass sound. Will shave the no. 2.5 Reed. The clarinet Reeds from the store are perfect , it's just that I have too many alto sax reeds.Intonation of the lowest concert Do is a bit low. The bottom key probably needs to be raised a little but it may get damaged if forced up.Fingering system should take weeks or months getting used to, just as with B flat clarinet.I use the included strap because it is not as light as the B flat clarinet.

pro clarinetist here. bought this for fun and was pleasantly surprised. easy response, good sound, and close to in-tune through the whole range. it even comes with a halfway decent case. if I were looking at it as a pro horn, I'd have a million little complaints, but as an entry level horn it's absolutely fabulous.
