The book is really well-bound; the pages are heavy so they don't blot or anything. Actually, it looks like a really fancy and professional lab notebook. I'm on my second one now. The first one was not the leather-bound one so I hated the fact that the cover got all blotched up with my fingerprints all the time, but this one has a nice cover that doesn't get my fingerprints all over it.

I thought this would be like my black science lab books, however for some reason these are much cheaper. Just get the black science kind.
