It works great! I spilled tons of iron (III) chloride solution on it but the paper's held together strongly. The notebook has more than enough pages to get through a semester of lab work.

The spiral binding is a bit weak, I've had it for just 2 labs and they're already wonky. The copy pages are white with 'duplicate' watermark, which is not as intrusive as you'd think by the image. It copies onto the copy page very well, however, the original and copy page are not attached, so you need to be aware of that when you're writing. I wish it was just a full page of grid without spaces for the info I don't need, but honestly, I'm just being nitpicky. While the back cover folds into the protective sheet you write on top of, it's not perfect. There are measurement and conversion units on it, as well as a grid mark-up area that is erasable a la vis-a-vis markers.Despite all the poohs in this review, I would likely purchase it again. I will update as the term and two consecutive terms of chemistry progress.Update: It survived nicely within three (3) consecutive terms of chemistry!

Used this for my chem lab and it worked just fine, prof always asked for the dup pages and it could be ripped off pretty cleanly. FYI it's very thick and heavy.

I really like this so far, the quality is good, it's also pretty thick. Very sturdy. I thought It would be more flimsy like a regular notebook but it is really sturdy! Definitely the better option over buying one at school that will have half the pages.
