We purchased these to help revive our yard from the winter. I could see this product working with lawns that don't have any trees or hidden debris. My husband stepped on a semi-buried tree root and broke the shoe in half 30 minutes after putting them on. Before the incident the shoe did do a good job of making small holes to aerate the yard.Update: The seller contacted me and offered a refund which demonstrates their commitment to good customer service. My husband ended up purchasing the same product and of course he was more careful using it so it worked well. It is better to use them on moist ground.

These are cheap and no instructions come with it (not sure how the straps are supposed to be assembled correctly?). You will spend 20-30 min assembling the metal screws into the holes with tightening bolts. My husband spent 30 min using to walk over our back yard and in first 5 min one of the nails bent sideways. They did their job as I believe it was less muddy next time it rained.

There is no instructions for assembly and making the straps work. I’ve used these all of 4 times and one is already broken. At least the nylon straps can be repurposed for something.

A little tricky to get on but they work once you fit the straps to your feet

These irrigation shows are okay at best. I’m not convinced they actually do anything. They are adjustable, but not very sturdy.
