I've had this about 8 months or so, used it two or three times. It works surprisingly well. Two and a half cinder blocks fit in the tray perfectly and a ratchet strap will hold them in over rough terrain. I'm happy with it so far. It's a little confusing to assemble and the tines are VERY sharp so wear gloves and pay close attention to the pictures when assembling.

Heavy metal! All the parts were in the box, nothing missing. I used 3 cement blocks on it with a dry lawn 1.5 acres. Works great. Wear gloves as the tines are extremely sharp. Do not fully tighten the side parts until you put the axle in. The only issue I had was the hex lock nuts that go on the end of the wheels. No matter what i use to tighten them they will not screw on all the way. Maybe i’m not strong enough. Lol I just sent an email to Brinly asking for replacement nuts that will screw on all the way. Will see if they respond. Otherwise this is an excellent purchase for 142.00. Do not hesitate to purchase this. I was pleasantly surprised.

Assembly didn’t take that long and I didn’t find it hard to assemble. I was missing a few parts (nut and washer) but luckily I had spares at my house. Unit is solid, doesn’t rattle or bounce much. The tires are a little tricky to install as you can’t over tighten or they won’t spin. So I had to play with that.Just ran several passes (like 50) over my yard in a cross cross pattern (dogs have destroyed it and I’m replanting). Hoping it’ll put enough holes in the ground so I can plant grass. We will see how well it works. Hopefully it’s not a waste of money as I’ve spent a lot trying to get grass to grow again. This was yet another purchase.Blades are definitely sharp so be careful. It seems to put small slices in the ground instead of holes. Not sure if that’ll be more effective but time will tell.Overall I like it, just hoping it does what I need it to do - help me grow grass

It did a good job for me. Blades VERY SHARP. My lawn sprouted right up after I ran the aerator over it. Putting it together was simple.

At this price point, the product did function adequately and get the intended job done. However, certain areas , most notably the tongue, are less strong than they should be for this service.Certainly could do with some strengthening.

Seems well made. Easy to assemble. All parts easy to identify and instructions were excellent. Design seems adequate for purpose. Watch out for sharp spikes when assembling.

Assembly was a little tricky. Don't fully tighten the side panels until you thread the spindle rod all the way through, otherwise the holes won't line-up for the screw that locks the rod in place. The number of washers to add on each side of the rod was not clear. The video and instruction manual do not match. I ended-up using three on each side. Most important, don't try to add the wheels until the long handle bar is locked into the "transport" position. Otherwise you may severely cut your hand (as I did) when the metal spikes accidentally drop down while you're trying to put on the wheel. The manual and video need to be updated to insist on this safety step.

Very heavy duty and well built! Unfortunately, with no center support, the 5/8†axle bent pretty considerably during the first use despite having between 100 and 140 lbs which is under the 150lb advertised load rating. This left only the very outer spikes to enter the soil, all the center ones 6-8 of them from not even touching. I decided to fix this myself and bout some shelf brackets here in Amazon. They were 1/4†thick, so I just reduced the number of washers required to keep everything tight in the shaft. This stiffened everything considerably and now it works AMAZING! Stacked 160lbs of dumbbells on it and every single spike sliced into the soil. Nothing has bent, or been damaged after using it for a few hours doing over an acre. The spikes are no longer razor sharp like they were new, but they seem to be just as effective and it’s almost nicer as I’m not concerned with getting cut like I was when it was new. Brinley should include these additional brackets as standard, not everyone will have the tools or capabilities to do the modification I did.

J'utilise ce produit avec un tracteur Cub Cadet 46po au printemps. Montage en 2 heures max. Nécessite 2 briques de murs gris pour un poids raisonnable au bon fonctionnement de l'aération
