The quality is somewhat decent material. It won't shred easily but it is definitely a costume and not built for rambunctious wear. The little bag that comes with it for collecting candy is about the size of a Kindle. :) I guess you wouldn't have to worry about them overeating on the treats! Overall, not horrible for $10.

I had to buy another rain coat for a Halloween costume, so I figured I buy a real one. I know raincoats are made differently from regular coats but this was disappointing. Especially for the price.

I bought this rain jacket for a child’s costume and sent it back. This jacket is cut straight down and very narrow from the chest through the hips and into the thighs. It doesn’t flair out some at the bottom for easy movement like most rain jackets.. so it doesn’t fit well over clothes and not sure how a child could run in it since it is straight and long... It is thin and the plastic top snap button wouldn’t stay snapped.. not worth what they want for it and likely wouldn’t make it through one Halloween night...It wasn’t see through at least under the light I checked it under. Also, it is a pretty bright yellow and has a nice sheen to it...I guess it would fit an extremely tall and narrow child that never runs. I found another one on Amazon for half the price and twice as nice!
