I used this product for an indoor decoration. It's not ideal for that purpose because in addition to making a lot of mist it throws a lot of water droplets. I managed to modify my setup to make it work, however, and it has performed admirably in every other way. I've been using it with reverse osmosis water for half an hour a day for months. The sensor that detects when the mister is dry also works reliably.

I bought these for a humidifier project. Of the three I have been using, two still work great after two weeks of constant use. One stopped working after a few days, probably due to overheating because I pulled it right out of the water. After it broke, I have been careful to let the other two sit in the water for a just minute after I unplug them. They don't get hot on the outside but you can feel that they are warm if you take them out directly. Besides from the one failure, I am happy with the product. They are silent except for light splashing sounds and produce some real fog that will make everything wet if you don't contain it or put a fan on it. Using two with a fan for a few days has boosted the humidity in my house from 10-20% depending on where I measure. My previous use of store-bought humidifiers didn't seem to help much. I did have to make a floating basket to hold the foggers at the right level under the water. It works great and they are easy to clean. I use a Q-tip to keep the minerals from building up on the elements.

The device is very strong if you leave it inside a house so you might want to keep it in contact with the exteriors. But anyway it is good for radiated zones and hot areas where the heat eats water to keep waters(around your house) in contact with the waters(clouds). I love it makes the sun look white.

This item misted properly in my fish tank for about 1 week and then it all of a sudden stopped producing mist.I've tried testing the device in other containers and water and it is no longer responding.I attempted to get assistance with product support for a return/replacement and there are no easy options to get assistance.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT, buy elsewhere.

Honestly, this mister is probably a good deal for the price but it takes a lot of fiddling to get it to add moisture to my hermit crab aquarium. I may have to break down and get the $50 mister but in the meantime, one of these lasted 2 weeks and I am now on my second one which has lasted a month. Thank goodness for Prime! Put in a bowl it splashes out onto the glass walls so I have it in a quart jar which means I constantly have to fiddle with the water level. Still, as long as they replace the ones that quit working I will probably continue to use it. Guess I'm just a sucker for punishment!

If you want a quality made product at a low price this is it. It is made of quality material and I have had no problems with it, well other than having to fill the pool of water several times a day because I like how it fogs my lizards tank. The only negative is my fault and am looking for the cure, which is the substrate is soaking up the water, this being coconut fiber, which in the past I had problems with mold growing. I put a heating pad up underneath the tank but does not seem to help so far. We will see what becomes of it!!! This was a speedy delivery and have no complaints!!! Thanks very much!

Let’s start off with what others have said, you get what you pay for. Maybe all of these sub $20 misters are all throwaways, but I assumed since there were good reviews this would be good for the occasional use.I didn’t actually get to test it out until a few months after buying it because I was waiting on other parts. I ran this for around 10mins no more than four times in my paludarium. It does take some finagling to get the water height so that it doesn’t spit and produce a solid fog. But it did the trick and looked nice. Afraid I would burn out the motor, I typically kept it off. I ended up removing it from my tank, opting for a different look. Now almost a year later I put it in a new setup, and it doesn’t work. Tried it with several cords with more water, less water, no dice.Like many things in this category, spend a little extra if this isn’t for one time use.

Not happy had a cheaper one previously with lights which I gave away . Came with 3 spare transducer plates and a removal tool .. Paid a few extra quid for this one which looked like it had been used due to chalky residue on it . Not only that no spare transducer plates either . Even though it shows them on the box it came in , saying that though the picture on the box showed a completely different model than it contained . So overall not very happy at all .. Obviously you dont get what u pay for from these guys and will be returning the item to them
