GreetingswMy home office was constructed as an add-on to my home's patio sometime shortly after it was built. As a result, the flooring has small grade, and is not level. As you may know, most chairs purchased in the retail world (vs. commercial) do not come with wheel locks. This caused a scenario where my chair was always trying to roll backwards from the direction I was sitting. Suddenly, I would find myself off of my office chair mat leaving me at an awkward, but growing distance of an angle to try to use my keyboard/mice, or desk in general. I already have a very bad back, and my unfortunate scenario was causing harsh levels of spinal trauma .The AGPtEK Replacement wheels did the trick. I now have the option to keep my chair in a fixed position when I wish to do so, and it has removed the need for the unsightly plastic chair mat. The replacement casters/wheels resemble roller-blade wheels and are designed to work on virtually any surface. As a precaution, after swapping out your office chair's wheel casters, test the new wheels to help assure that there will not be any damage to your flooring.The package containing the new caster wheels also includes an extended warranty card, along with a Phillips headed screw driver (which wasn't needed in my specific application) The installation, concept, and targeted purpose were all simple enough and very worth it. The AGPtEK caster wheels are highly effective, a great overall value, and we're very reasonably priced. These are great wheels. Popped right into place with no issues. Decent quality materials. Once installed, rolling around hardwood floors feels like rollerblading on an indoor rink - quick and smooth.The wheels are thinner than the OEM wheels, but are surprisingly stable.Would have given these 5 stars but the metal brakes have sharp edges that will inevitably cut your ankles/feet when you least expect it. It is almost impossible not to make contact with the metal parts, and it is rarely a pleasant experience. Smacked my ankle against the side of these wheels once (drawing blood), and now I'm hyper careful when maneuvering on or near the chair.If I could go back in time, I would purchase same wheels but without the brake option.

I got these to lock my chair for sim racing. I have pedals that require up to 200kg of force, and I have them around 160kg. As long as you rotate your chair wheels as if you were going to roll backwards, you won't move an inch with them locked down. Having all 5 lock down individually is a gamechanger.For non-sim gaming purposes, they roll like a bead of water down vertical glass treated with RainX, are smooth and quiet. Could be a pro or con depending on your flooring. I'm on wood floors, if I sit hard enough, I'll roll 5ft away.Fit in my Secret Lab chair perfectly.

I have a hard plastic desk chair mat (over carpet) and as a result, my chair glides effortlessly. Sometimes TOO effortlessly. I often find myself drifting away from the desk and these casters fit the bill. They are very easy to install and include a good quality flat tip screw driver to remove the old ones. Once installed it's quite easy to activate the locks. They require a good amount of pressure but I'm able to lock and unlock them with my feet. And they LOCK well. It only takes one to drastically limit the movement of the chair. You know instantly that the lock is on if you try to move without unlocking.One thing to note, they were about 1" shorter than the stock casters which are also rollerblade style. Not an issue for me as I was able to raise my chair. If you normally sit all the way up then it might be a factor.

Bought them for the locks since I wanted to use my sim racing wheel with my gaming chair (wheels don't have locks). I replaced them and even with 2/5 locks on, it's enough for the chair to not move an inch. When unlocked, the wheels roll incredibly easy. Great purchase right there.

The wheels are smaller than I thought but it functions perfectly as it glides smoothly and easily without making any noise. The wheel locks are perfect for the wheels as they keep them in place without moving whatsoever. A must-have for sim racing.

Bought these after a leg on an ottoman broke, to make it easier to move once fixed. Best purchase I could have made. The casters are sturdy and the locks on them are great. Really keep it from moving when they’re in use. Ottoman moves smoothly and can take the same weight it used to with the regular legs.

Rolls smoothly even when I'm sitting on the chair. Has already been a few months and I don't notice it get clogged or squealing. Very satisfied.

Seems like a fairly decent set. Definitely not heavy duty, but feel well built and operate well. My set did not come with the screws. I'm using them to support my thickness planner and they roll well under the weight. I would purchase again at this price.

Very good castors to put on your chair. Durable and quiet.I put these on my Secret Lab Titan chair. It did raise the seat a little but these casters fit perfectly and look like it was meant for the chair.The fact that I can easily lock each wheel when I want to get into racing mode and keep my chair from moving makes these a must have for any sim racer. Very sturdy and grippy on hardwood floors, not sure about carpet.Those people that ended up breaking their locking mechanism must have done something out of the norm to do that. Even though it's made of plastic and not metal, it's definitely strong and designed to last. Even if it breaks, I'm sure Amazon or the Seller will replace it for you. I've used the locking mechanism for months now and it never felt like it was about to break.
