I used this for cutting bottles. It is a very nice quality and did great for us.

you really need to 1) get something that can write on glass don't use scotch tape 2) something that holds down the glass 3) trace multiple times in the same spot till you hear a cutting sound 3) ensure the cut sound / result is the full run of the break 4) break the glass over an edge that supports the part you don't want broken 5) if needed get another tool to smooth the edges.

Seems poor quality. The item came packed simply in a sealed bag, with no instructions or brand name or anything. The wooden handle had a couple of cracks running down the sides. I tried it on some glass but the glass was hard to cut, with quite a lot of effort having to be placed on the handle which was quite difficult due to the design of the handle. This last part might be true for other glass cutters, as I have not tried any others.I would not buy this product again.
