Our cats use this all the time, and it last a long time. It won't keep them from scratching other things, but might lessen it. It's easy to use, just flip them over when it's been used a lot. It functions as advertised. This size is perfect for a cat to sit on and scratch it. It could be cleaned with a vacuum. It doesn't smell at all, it's just cardboard.

I have one cat who loves this kind of scratching box. But the ones I've purchased so far only come with 1-2 inserts and no way to buy replacements. I was happy to find this one, which comes with 5 scratching pads! She'll be able to use this box for a very long time! It's a little plain, but I don't think the cat cares (and you can always get your kids to decorate it!) The price is definitely reasonable.

It was nice to receive a message from the Seller reaching out to make sure that the scratcher arrived in good condition and that my cats liked it. I was surprised that the scratchers are tougher than the regular cardboard scratchers that are soft and easily shred and fall apart. My cats have used them for several days and they are holding up well with no shredding. They also enjoy the box. Although it is too soon to tell, I believe that these scratchers will last longer and create less mess, and, most importantly, the kitties are using them.

I was too late ordering this to stop my cat from turning an upholstered chair from “chic†to “shabby chicâ€, but unlike the expensive, upright rope tree style scratching post she declined to use after she pulled it over while scratching, she loves these cardboard things. I didn’t give it a 5 because they shred during scratching and are somewhat messy, but as long as they save my furniture, I am satisfied. She is a somewhat larger cat and can comfortably stand with her entire body on these to facilitate use. It comes with a box in which I placed one scratching thing and that helps contain shreds so I will try to find another box that fits. I put one in bedroom and one in living room by the chair she formerly scratched. There are 5 sturdy cardboard scratchers and I expect they will last a long time. Good price for the product, given her total attention to it rather than furniture now. Oh, and she started using it almost immediately.

Yep, yep and yep. This is our second one. It took a couple years to kill the first one. Having lots of flippable inserts is great. My cat loves scratching away and sleeping in the box. When I had to toss the last one (he went to the bathroom in it when he was on medication from the vet) I didn't even think he cared. I replaced it 2 days later, thanks Prime, and he scratched so much he fell asleep. He loves it. Absolutely loves it.

I cannot say enough great things about this product! We order a new one every few months for our 2 cats! It is worth every penny! They absolutely love it, and love the box it comes in! They are sturdy, open right up, and are ready to use! They file my cats nails down so well, and they scratch them all day! Best cat product we purchase!! I love it!

He compadro con anterioridad de otras marcas. Estos estan mas delgados, pero son funcionales. Vienen mas grandes de lo normal (una cosa por otra). Antes le ponia dos a mi gato, ahora con estos es suficiente uno. Los otros ya los puedo guardar. Son planos, sencillos, sin colores ni adornos que a mi gato de la igual. Para sus uñas y sus habitos es suficiente.
