3. Try a new location for the Doorbell.
4. If the Doorbell and push button(s) do not operate, repeat the electronic pairing process of the push button(s) to the Doorbell refer to the user manuel.

my home is 1600 sq ft and this is perfect. I have it plugged at a half way point in the house and it works great. ring is easily heard from any room of the house.

Easy to install and select tone and volume. BUT... it occasionally rings when nobody is at the door. No, not kids pranking. It's happened when we could see that no one had come on the porch. We have an older home on an older electric grid, and I suspect the receiver unit is ultra sensitive to minor current fluctuations. Not fun to be waked in the middle of the night. Not worth returning. No guarantee another unit won't do likewise. I just unplug it at night.
