Just what I wanted to find. This is the answer to the inadequacy of the wing nut, which can only get so tight without the help of pliers. In a tight space, with no other way to tighten on that bolt except the fingers of one hand, what you need is the ability to torque it down. This six-sided nylon & stainless steel nut provides the answer: you can grip it in many different ways and keep tightening until it's done. Just added a washer to make it a little smoother and it looks great, what I can see of it in that recess, holding it all together. Brilliant!

Understand what you are ordering and double check sizes. I did the above and got the correct item. It spins on easy and the finger grips make a wrench unnecessary. Good fit, quality, and functionality.

Bought these to help secure an electric heater to the ceiling. Using as tightening knob for swiveling the heater from side to side. They were the correct size and seem to do the job.
