We use to collect and crush soda can's many years ago when we would buy well soda can's. Then life moved on and we stopped buying them. Now I live with someone that drinks constantly. Annoying but hey we can now crush and save up cans now. However I never liked doing it by hand years ago. Then I found this! Oh boy it helps so much and made crushing a hell of a lot easier. Not to mention get to use the air compressor that's sitting around. Only complains are it was a pain to put together and the chute was also a pain to put together. But oh well it works wonderfully!!!

Assy was a bit tedious; but, no issues/all parts present. Could have used a few more pics in the instructions; but managed OK with a little back & forth page flipping.Haven't used much, yet (new rlpcmnt regulator on-the-way for my larger compressor).Definitely needs 100 PSI for smooth, fast operation; bit slow/not as much can compression at 80 PSI. Gets stuck if running at 60 PSI.Can't speak to the CF/per can-crushed consumption; but definitely better off running off a larger compressor/tank.Like the can stack/loader (holds 8, w/one in the chamber).Foot pedal works well/is handy. Prefer over hand-actuated button.Great bang for the buck.Well recommended.

This makes the mundane task of crushing cans so much easier. I opted for the version with a 6 can hopper and now my 9 year old crushes (hits the pneumatic button) while I keep the hopper full. It does a fantastic job of crushing 12 (hopper) and 16 ounce cans (hand fed). The only thing it cannot crush are the 99cent arizona iced tea cans. the kit is solid and looks like it will last a long time. Hint: all hardware comes in a single bag. dump it out and arrange like the picture on page 1 based on the count of bolts/nuts and their shapes, and you'll be good to go.

I bought this product as a nice garage workshop area to deal with the soda cans that inevitably take up quite a bit of space, but I was going to start setting them aside for metal recycling recovery versus lumping them in with the rest of the recycling to turn in for scrap money. A better use of the cans and easier to consolidate many more of them before the space constraint means I need to haul them in.My daughter also wanted to help build the project, so this was a fun little tour for her into mechanizing the crushing. Fun times we had building the little project and seeing what it could do after. To date, we have crushed about 500 cans and havent had any issues as some reviews have mentioned. I would say the crushing plunger needs some size increasing as the cans slip past it a little too often, but in time I may modify that portion.I recommend you install the unit while allowing for access to the plunger area because cans can get stuck either against the plunger, or the cradle. I have installed a valve that I can close in the air supply line that removes the air pressure to "service" the unit, as you cant be too careful when dealing with this sort of crushing, it will take a finger off if you were relaxed in your care and went to remove something while the air pressure was active. I will cut the shutoff valve and run the plunger one more time to release any stored air pressure till activating it causes no movement. Just to be safe while I try to remove a can stuck somewhere. You've been warned.Overall happy with the purchase. Would buy again.

Works perfectly, can be a bit fussy about cans that are already dented, and mis shaped. Overall, it is a lot of fun and can smash a lot of cans in short order. I will have to really save a bunch of cans to justify buying this but the fun factor has to be considered.

This product works, but the auto part falls apart if you are not watching it and you loose the parts to make it work. My kids where the ones using it and they were not paying attention when they were doing it. First the nuts to hold the part that holds the can so it does not fall in fell off and they lost it. Then the part that holds the silindar in fell off and we list it. If you are dilegent and make sure the parts are not loose before you use it then I am sure this product will last a while without loosing the parts. Just make sure you tighten them before each use.

The rods for the can feeder like to come back out, had to put a drop of superglue on them prior to insertion to keep from having to keep putting it back together. Otherwise, works great.Would be better if the coupler was a right angle fitting and pointed down. This can be fixed with a trip to the hardware store, but would be better if they were just included. The mufflers on the activation button make disconnecting the air line troublesome.

This is the best investment and invention. It takes crushing cans to a whole new level. Fast and easy to use. I am using a 21 gallon air compressor and I can crush about 24 cans before the compressor needs to fill up. Again, fun to use.

The parts for this kit are good quality! Note that it requires full assembly. It takes about 20 or 30 minutes with the tools that they ship in the box. Give yourself a leg up and get your own wrenches and a 90 degree phillips driver out. The fitment is great as well, but, the order of assembly leaves requires some small hands, especially when attaching the hopper cage. A fun little project. If you want geek out and teach a bit of physics/engineering it would be cool too. When complete, it works like a charm. Partially bent cans will cause some hassle, but easily slide into place and can be crushed just as well. Adds some fun to party cleanup!NOTE: There is no safety. Keep your hands clear. You could easily loose a finger in an eye-blink if you are not careful. One hand on the green button, the other on top of your head. :-)I am happy enough with this purchase that I actually took the time to write a review.
