I decided to wait until I’d crushed at least 500 pounds to review this and I’m well past that now. It works great and it’s durable. It would be nice if it was a little faster but I’m giving it 5 stars anyway because it’s still faster than lining them up on the pavement and stomping them. And it has paid for itself. My recycler pays 30 cents more per pound for crushed cans, so the first 300# covered it.Tip: while you’re waiting to load the next can, dent it a little. I hold it against my hip, squeeze, roll, squeeze.I named mine Wesley.

This crusher works well; a little slower than a manual press, but consistant & appears to be durable enough. Mostly consistent in crushing the cans & kind of fun to use. Takes up desk/counter/bench space though, but a trade off.

Just got this and so far so good. It seems very sturdy and more than powerful enough to crush cans. It’ll crush some plastic water bottles as well, granted they’re thin enough, but I wouldn’t try to use it continuously to crush anything too thick like Gatorade bottles.One thing I didn’t realize before buying was that you have to continuously depress the buttons in order to get the arm to move either forwards or backwards, but I just put something heavy on the button to keep it engaged, so no big deal.Lastly, there also doesn’t seem to be a set stopping pressure so if you hold forward it’ll continue to try moving that way even if it’s unable to crush further. Also no big deal, just let go, remove the item, and continue with the rest.I’m happy with the purchase, and I’m hoping this lasts a long time, but I’ll update if there are any issues.EDIT - although it still technically works, there’s a rubber piece that acts as a buffer between the shaft and main body. This broke within a few months and there’s a ton of pressure in this area, to the point where it literally shaves off some of the metal from the shaft without the rubber separator. So I don’t use it anymore, and there doesn’t seem to be any product support for this item. Pretty disappointing considering the cost.

Let's see how long this one works. I purchased a different one and the motor crapped out within a month. Good thing I was within my return period with that other one. This one is easier to use and works like a charm.

This is cool!!! It works really well. Becareful the edges are very sharp. Other than that it's great.

The can crusher does a very good job. I don't have a place to hang a can crusher so I bought one that you place on the floor and use your foot. It did a good job of crushing cans but it aggravated my arthritis in my hip when I used it. Now all I have to do is push a button.

Well made. Easy to use. We have filled 2 trash bags with smashed cans. Don’t know if that’s much money but it helps the environment to recycle so we all should!
